Piyalli Yan, nimomachtitok miak nahuatl pampa moamox nelkwalli. I have familiarized myself with the huasteca variety and a little bit of other varieties. What Nahuatl variety would you say is the most "neutral" one among them. One that is the most mutually intelligible across the many Nahuatl varieties. Although the huasteca variety is the most spoken, I still see a large number of speakers and resources online from what it seems to be the central variety. I would like to learn a variety to make use of it as my "first" nahuatl, but at the same time having ease of adapting to other varieties. Do you see a "standard" variety of nahuatl in the future, similar to the way that arabic has many dialects, but they have a "modern standard arabic" used in academia, professional life and connecting people from the different regions? I find nahuatl to be a relatively easy language to learn, but the biggest obstacle perhaps is the different words used across different dialects.
Hmmm perhaps the zongolica nahuatl would be close to being neutral, though theres never 100% Theres many resources for central but usually they are classical central, not modern central. Whichever variety u choose theyre all good!
Can you explain the difference between "tlen ica" v. "ica tlen" ? Or better yet, do you have useful (yet easy) English substitutes for these two phrases. Thanks!
We need more videos man my dad only taught me very little and want to be more involved in my culture

Hello, I am very much interested in attending a course or something if there is anything that is being offered, online (zoom) would also be helpful.
Los Angeles clases on Sundays at Plaza de Cultura y arte. Zoom classes offered by my friend at LearnNahuatl, and rutas compartidas

What’s the noise like bumping into something?
pple usually say "topewa" but its more of the action than the sound, for the bump sound you might use the word for "crash" sound
