these guys are eveeery where in the scorched earth portion of the map, which you forgot to mention. would definitely recommend heading there instead of the volcano area.
I play single player offline somtimes or pve but pvp servers are hard solo and it gets annoying constantly getting raided and killed so its offline single player or pve servers for me. But i allways seem to end up watching videos of ark rather than actually playing it 😂
I don't have a device capable enough of running it. My Phone is very outdated (2017-2018 Model) although ARK Mobile is temporarily removed from Play Store and also I don't have a PC or anything like that either. 😅
Craziest thing about these is that despite all their cool abilities, chances are they won’t shake up pvp meta at all Not that Ive pvp ark anymore for about a year or two, but it seems crazy that there can be all this and chances are it won’t have any impact on the meta
I know this comment is a little late to the game. But me and a buddy had a pretty easy taming session. We trapped a giga in a 3 gate trap near a cliff. Then brought an amargasaurus to the lower area where it could see it. Then one of us just shot at the giga and the other healed it with an owl. Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere so thought i would put it out there.
You don't really need to, an easier way to tame Amargasaurus is to have Managarmr, for some reason Wild Amargasaurus WON'T aggro at Tamed Managarmr, and it is recommended to tame the one at Volcano biome, as the one found in Snow biome died to Wolves pretty easily, and also it is recommended to let your Amargasaurus hunt smaller, easier game such as Raptor, Sabertooth, Carno etc, even Dilo, that goddamn seagull can increase taming progress, Rex is not a suitable game for Amargasaurus as it can diminish its health rather quickly, however if the Rex's level is low you can try to take it down, DO NOT let it approach pack hunting carnivores like Allosaurus or Dire Wolf, as that might lead to certain death for your Amargasaurus
@@TheXAllosaurus I think high level creatures tames would be easier, you could put them on passive so that the amargasaurus doesn't die, and since The taming progress depends on XP, and XP depends on level having it kill a couple lvl 400 rexes on passive would be quicker
just started on this map, woulda fun to tame it early on but damn all the things u need. ghille suit, growing crops to get veggie cakes (tame dire bear to safely get bee honey), making the soups, get good firearms (guessing ascendant quality im assuming is recommended) to help ur Amarga. definitely gonna tame it sometime but god its gonna be cancer, was hoping to tame it early game 😣
Very cool, but like all the the other unique tames, Ark's jank get's in the way and can just cost you the tame through no fault of your own. "look fire! Imma run into it!"
(Late I know) It’s a neat taming method, but ark’s stupidity gets in the way (“Hey look! Why don’t I run into a wall and shoot off heat spikes!”) I think this guy should’ve functioned like the Carcharodontosaurus, where after you sync up temperature, you can ride it without a saddle and *then* go hunting together. Honestly think more creatures should be tamed like that, it’s more feasible earning their trust than knocking them out and shoving food up their butt

This is the creature I was looking forward the most! I want one but so far I only tamed the giant killer baboons.
I want a baboon but I know if I run into one it will completely obliterate me and my very weak raptor and moschops
I tamed one but it died by getting swarmed by high level sarcos and baryonixes, they also killed my maewing

Can you have it kill your own tames? This would make it a lot easier, just uncryo and kill, esp if you have high lvl mutated stuff
