You two make a nice couple! Again I’m more of a 4K TV guy but your setup is looking great! My favorite thing about your channel is how practical your setup is. You didn’t sacrifice quality but you didn’t buy the most expensive thing just because that’s what popular or for clicks.
I appreciate that man! People call me a reviewer and I understand why BUT I don't review the mainstream stuff. I talk about the things I personally want and expose you all to things you won't see on most other channels. Of course, if I company wants to send me something I'll review it or if you guys want something reviewed I'll try to get my hands on it but I didn't Make my channel for the money. I'm just really passionate about audio
I let out a Homer Simpson scream 😱 I thought your channel got highjacked lol. I had the same screen a while back and liked it, I later upgraded to the Screen Innovations Black Diamond 120” cinema scope. Thanks for bringing Kpace Girl out to help, I had my wife help me out...just makes it more fun. Love to see women in audio, I think that there is so much they can bring to the hobby. Thanks for posting Pace😎
Be sure your screen is perfectly level and the projectors lens is perfectly centered to the screen and level as well. Angle the projector till the image is square. Don’t use that keystone on the projector and be sure it’s centered also otherwise you’ll end up with soft corners. Nice vid keep up the hard work 👍👍
Bookmarking this! I just got my Sable Frame and the room is being finished now. Luckily I'll have a bit more room to put it together than you did, so it should be a little less awkward, but I know this will probably take a bit of time to assemble, and then properly mount. I got the 135" size, but as for aligning the projector, I'm happy the Epson 5050 has such an amazing lens. Will check back in once I get it together :)
you want other people's comments, of course. But we need your input. You have so much to tell us about this experience of watching 4K on a 55 - 65 inch TV versus 1080p at 100 inches.
Ohhhh yes! I definitely plan to talk about this because it's a HUGE deal. It'll be next week. I need time to watch what I usually watch and gather as much info from it as I can
I have this frame but went with the Cinegrey 3D for adding contrast. The Cinegrey 5D is too dark but the 3D had the right balance on Epson 2100 projector I recently returned due to dead pixels.
Excellent video kpaceguy, good to see kpacegirl helping out. As Ian Peck mentioned in the comments some women are into HT's. Looking forward to more videos of your transition from OLED to projection. Appreciate your work.
I was impressed with the Cinegrey 3D I setup last week. You can certainly watch in daylight or lights on without a lost in too much detail. White screens are only good if you black out your room and delivers less pop because of the lack of contrast. The only downside with Cinegrey 3D is viewing angles. It shifts like a VA panel LED when moving off. I didn't see that my first matt white screen I took back.
@@jasonsullivan8001 Good! The Cinegrey 3D is I a tad better than my Sony 900E in a dark room but don't expect OLED quality contrast. I had the Epson Home Cinema 2100 projector I returned due to hot spotting and dead pixels. I decided to wait until Black Friday to get a higher end projectors with Epson HC 3200 and BenQ HT3550 in my inbox waiting for a price drop to $1200 or so before I pull the trigger. I have the Xbox 1 S connected as my media source for now. The primary reason for the projector is to get 3D back but I think 4K movies would look nice on my 100 inch as well. I don't know how to post the pictures I took on RUclips unfortunately.
The screen looks great. Measure your diagonals to check if the screen is square. Also just curious if you still plan on getting the Monitor Audio Silver towers or if you’re thinking about something else now?
Fill the screen with picture man, looks good. Also, if the screen isn’t wider on the bottom, which would be weird, does your projector have a keystone correction feature? 👍🏻👍🏻
Great video bro. The screen looks good in room with the speakers. Sup Holly. Keep him on toes and tell him to give me my prize for winning the staring contest. Lol
Check out short throw projectors, or honestly look at the used market there's a ton of high end projectors for a fraction of their original price out there. I got a flagship JVC x950R projector that's 4k for about 2k USD and I've been blown away by how good the picture looks.
Keep her.🤗 she seems kinda bossy but hey what girl isn't lol🤭😂 I liked your channel I plan on buying one myself and making a video on my other channel. God bless you two.
Kpaceguy I bought a 92 inch grey high contrast fixed screen (not Elite) but still expensive and the black back side after installing and stretching the screen material on the metal frame per instructions is really wrinkled and has like an alligator type skin with large orange peel type round markings and still after sitting stretched on the metal frame for 3 days. I don’t want to attempt using heat on it and don’t think I should have to because of the cost. Was that in your case, or was yours more flat when stretched on your frame?
Kpaceguy, thanks, the screen material was rolled in the box and not folded but on paper tube not pvc. Manufacturer is Antra, cost about $160.00 for 92” gray, (cheaper than Elite, but defective). Amazon refunded my purchase today. Thanks for you replies.
@Kpaceguy sorry but I have to call you out on your bass trap giveaway. Based off of your video you made at 7 mins and 40 secs to 8 mins 6 secs and information you asked for your winner didnt do that in comments. I think you had biased towards your decision because they didn't answer your question. I am disappointed that you were less than honest in your giveaway. I trust the content and information you share in your vids but this is 1st time I question your integrity. Alright you do as you will. Be Blessed!
What did he not do? My question was why he chose to subscribe and what video did he subscribe on. If he doesn't remember what video that's not his fault. I'm not sure how I can be biased because I have viewers who said just as nice of things who have been here longer AND I don't personally know any of my subscribers. I picked his comment because he let me know he was here from nearly the beginning and will always be and I can't show enough appreciation.
Pretty sure you didn't follow the directions properly... All the springs shouldn't have been in already when you are putting in the center support.. I will never understand all the "how to" RUclips videos from people that don't know "how to" do it themselves.
Time to move holly in. Any women who will help you with the home theater is a keeper.😍😍👍👍👍
she's a keeper. hope you all had a great dinner after those long hours you put her through. keep up the good work.

I have the same screen. I think my new one will be gray. If you get any light it washes out and needs help with contrast. Other than that I like it.

They come with their own brackets although I was just gonna hang it with ceiling hooks and fishing wire since its relatively light
