The manual sucks. So glad to find parents doing these videos!! It took me only 10 min tops to change a car seat position today thanks to this. Would have taken me forever to figure it out on my own and I would be throwing it to the curb probably 😆

This grandma sure thanks you for this video. I was totally confused by the instructions that came with this car seat. Your video explained everything In detail, I was able to make all the adjustments necessary. A previous comment saying all heroes don’t wear caps rings true for me. Thank you!

It’s very informative, I would like to add that once your child is over 50lbs not only should you be using the latch system in the car seat for installation but you should also be running the seat belt through using your manual to see where the seat belt should be placed properly. This is because car seat latch straps are not made to be strong enough to keep the car seat in place with the inertia of the impact and the weight of the child in the event of an accident. Using the latch system and seatbelt helps provides better support once your child is over 50lbs. Not something most notice when reading the car manual, just wanted to share! Thank you for this video it really helped me understand this car seat so much better!

After wasting a lot of time and effort trying to figure how to get the strap out I decided to search RUclips and found your video. I love this car seat, we have 3 and moving in to the fourth. This was the best find. Our first 3 kids had other car seats and we HATED the aggravation of moving them and that we had to buy new car seats as they got bigger. The only other car seat I would recommend is the Doona infant car seat that has a built in stroller. My youngest is currently using that and then we will be moving to this Graco. AWESOME video! Thanks so much for the time and clear instructions.

Just got this seat. For the life of me, I cannot figure out what the extra strap with the red plastic thingy does. It came in a separate bag with the seat..looks like an extender.. your video is real good. Amusing how cooperative your kids are too!
Don’t forget to change the level of recline to the orange position (recline position 4) for front facing. While he mentions this in the beginning of the video, it is not shown in the front facing demonstration. Thanks for the video!
Thank you. The Graco installation video and manual are definitely not clear about the latch conversion. That’s definitely the tricky piece for forward facing installation.
The Chico Nextfits have the easiest installation straps... car seat is so much tighter firing to the actual seat of the car with much less effort. Your method is simple, but the car seat was extremely loose. I always sit in the seat myself to compress it and then pull on the strap to tighten on our Graco. After you get up, it's very very tight to the seat. Great instructional video though
You did a really good explanation of the blue and orange. I did not know that I thought that we had to take the strap that was in the front for rear facing and loop it through the back for forward facing, but apparently the oranges, her seat belts.? I did not know that
Great video, only feedback is I came to find out how to do the high back booster seat, it would have been helpful to see the car install and seatbelt position for that.
By far the best video! That stupid metal bar😖. I thought I was losing it. When I saw it slid right up, piece of cake. Other videos had me undoing all the padding and complicating things. Unsnapping is the easiest way to adjust the straps.
I have the same car seat and this is by far the best tutorial I have viewed. I will try some of the techniques. Thanks! P.S. I wish I would have found this video a year ago.

I read about the latch weight limit, but a latch system and seatbelt should never be used at the same time! it would have to be only seatbelt install
