I'm a Conservative on a lot of issues. However MAGA is not Conservative, neither is Trump. They are so loud that our voices are not heard.I also don't believe that all Conservatives have to agree on every issue. Neither do Liberals. What happened to moderates? Do American's know how bad inflation is all over the world? Do they really think that US President rules the world?
Politics should hear everyone's voices. Not just corporations.

If i see a woman with a crying baby, i am usually either actively fighting the need to intervene or going over there and kindly asking if i can help/take the baby away/try to distract it by offering something small like a piece of candy/video of my kids from my phone/you tube/netflix/disney +/anything but shaming her because she most likely has a huge reason why she is there with a baby and could use 5 minutes of peace and the baby can always use some distraction/entertainment
As an Arab liberal I so miss Meghan's eye opening political takes! So glad she's back with this podcast. She's really appreciated and missed.

Troubling.I have an American friend who invited me to spend the holidays with her in New Jersey and I told her I couldn't because I was planning a trip to Spain. She said she wanted to join me and asked me how long was the distance by car.

When an Italian American co-worker was trashing 'Latinos', I informed her that she, herself was Latin; she looked at me like I had 2 heads. Try going to Italy and telling the people that they are not Latin. Have a look at the 1965 Italian film, 'Latin Lovers' (Original title: Gli Amanti Latini); or the 2015 Italian film, 'Latin Lover'.
And 'Hispanic' is defined as coming from Spain. When a Hispanic person gets their DNA test results, the Hispanic part of them indicates Spanish DNA.
But prejudices keep spooking people and bigots keep weaponizing words... so we muddy the waters with idiocy.
Her name is Catherine Princess of Wales. No respect .. call her Catherine thats ok but Kate ..why the media and social twats call her Kate Middleton is beyond me..
Why this insistence on the formal version of the woman's name?
I really don't get that. Seems so picayune.
Virtually all of the media coverage has always called her Kate. We were introduced to her as Kate, we fell in love with Kate, we've been thinking of her as Kate for all these years.
She is beloved to us as 'Kate'. The name Kate is far more endearing than the formal 'Catherine'.
No one bleated on about Di versus Diana. Fergie versus Sarah. Nobody was bothered at all about it.
Why is everyone so bothered now?
I am 73 years old and love hearing views of other generations. Thank you for being you. Please though , when talking practice a wee bit of slowing it down, not because I am older but speed talk denotes valley girls of olden days and you are not one of those. Keep this up brave lady. Not gonna lie, when you were on The View, I felt like you came across very entitled and immature, but then to see you thrive on this platform makes me realise that you can discuss topics with people you disagree with, as long as everyone is respectful of eachother. I feel like you were set up to fail on The View as you had 4/5 liberal left leaners raising their voice, which makes everyone else raise their voice, and it just makes for unhealthy viewing. I am from the UK and would be classed in the US as a democratic socialist, so pretty much NONE of our views align, but i really appreciate a woman who has the strength to stand up to her own convictions and beliefs. Keep it going girl!
