I’m an interior designer looking for a POS system that isn’t crazy expensive with a scanner and inventory. I already own the Square. Just wondering if I should add something else
Hi, Leah! Square is a simple and affordable system that does have basic inventory and you can always subscribe to Square Retail's paid plan to access more advanced inventory. You might also want to check out some of inventory software that Square integrates with like Thrive or Finale. Check out our review of Square Inventory: www.merchantmaverick.com/reviews/square-inventory-review/. We hope this helps!
Hey, Ozzy! It's a little difficult to say without more information but, generally speaking, if you have a high number of SKUs and complex inventory needs, Lightspeed is probably the way to go. To learn more about Lightspeed and what it has to offer, check out our review. We hope this helps! www.merchantmaverick.com/reviews/lightspeed-retail-review/
Hey! Over the years, we've evaluated over 100 POS software and hardware systems. While we research and compare many different systems, the pos systems we mention in our videos have been handpicked by our experts based on metrics like overall popularity, availability, and quality. We routinely review smaller POS vendors, but in recent years have seen them all acquired by some of our favorites, too. If you have a suggestion of someone we should check out, we’d love to hear it! @@MerchantMaverick Thank you for getting back. I wasn’t trying to say you don’t review them. It was more of a question. I was genuinely curious about systems for Convenience stores or small mom and pop stores. I sometimes see POS systems labels with National Retail Association and some say JPL. So I was curious.
Hey, @@yunaiki - If you're interested in the best POS systems specifically for convenience stores, we actually have a blog post sharing our top recommendations. We hope this helps! 😊 www.merchantmaverick.com/convenience-store-pos-system/
Hey Sherry! While we don't have direct experience with InfoPlus, it looks like they're more of a warehouse inventory management system than a POS. From what we've seen, they have solid reviews as a standalone service!

Any expertise with InfoPlus?
