Just love this guys, real musicians, real artists, i mean, who is uploading a whole album on yt, only real artists that doesn't think about sells, bcs they earn their money with live shows and aren't greedy and for ES, i believe, the message is the most important thing. Just sucks that i can't watch it in Germany.
Evan Tisby It's all Music. To discriminate against any Song by Age, Complexity and Genre, is exactly the same as being a Racist. They all just worship the Boundries that Confine and Divide them. We are all just Vertebrates. Earthlings, after all.
I actually bought the complete album because this song was unavailable on youtube. But now that Enter Shikari fixed what apparently was a fuck up, I'm all the more happy: now I can listen to Myopia on the CD in my car AND on youtube! Just fantastic.
Drip drip drop - bit by bit - it's the dulcet sound of the glacial melt Accompanied by the Beluga, singing about the hand they've been dealt The Emperor and the Arctic Fox listen intently... "I'm beginning to get glimpses of what is called real life" He says, meaning misfortune "I'm beginning to get glimpses of what is called real life" "Yes, they're lost in myopia" "Yes, they're lost in myopia" Surrounded by ostriches with mouths full of sand Their teeth grind the grains, but their faces don't contort Perplexed, I am unable to breathe in their skin We are all vertebrates, but where is their backbone now? This was my first Enter Album. Like I knew them beI fire, but this was the first Album I went to see them live, the first album I purchased and my proper intro to he band. Still fucking love these boys
In dutch the chanting of the crowd sound hilarious btw. at around 2:15 right after Rou's line it sound like the crowd is chanting: "what did you just say?" (wat zei je)
It seems like a simple metal distortion to me but with A LOT of good production, you don't have to focus in the effect they used but in the tone of the guitar. It sounds like there is a lot of compression that gives an organic sound and a cut off in the high frequency. (I'm not a pro anyway)
I don't know why, but the intro of this song made me think of Haken - Atlas Stone. You might want to take a listen. ;) Might also want to listen to the latest Solsfatir album.
stealthninjakitteh64 ES always been inspired by them. if you listen to veeery old songs of them, when they were just teens, you'll even hear Rou reenacting the typical singing style of Muse.
What I don't understand is why a band from England has blocked one of their best songs from being played in England... Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

3 years later, no one makes money on youtube anymore, merch/patreon is a lot more profitable, yet they're still among the only bands doing this.
The intro to this song is hauntingly beautiful!
no matter what album of enter shikari you listen to, its always good, no matter how different it is! They're just so fucking good!

I think his ending scream is freaking beast! :)
Misheard this as "there's lumps in my opium" the first time I listened to it.
Amazing song though!

Intro sounds like Radiohead, but properly and well digested.
It sounds like Radiohead but you can't tell which song it actually sounds alike. Great.
Oh my! I was about to comment that, I thought I was the only one who thinks it c:
Easily the best track on the album.
Yes
Love this song, Torn Apart and The Last Garrison
I was playing osu and this was the song to one of the beatmaps... the intro to this is soooooooo gooooooooood
In dutch the chanting of the crowd sound hilarious btw. at around 2:15 right after Rou's line it sound like the crowd is chanting: "what did you just say?" (wat zei je)

Strange that this one is region limited, it's one of my favs off the album. Hooray for proxies lol
This is epic
Does anyone have any idea what effect they use on the guitar during the "They're living in denial!" part? I can't figure it out

Drip Drip Drop
can you say bands, who play music like the intro?
I don't know why, but the intro of this song made me think of Haken - Atlas Stone. You might want to take a listen. ;) Might also want to listen to the latest Solsfatir album.
It reminded of The butterfly effect, but just the album Final conversation of kings
Anyone else get Radiohead vibes from the intro?
this reminds me of ok time for plan b
S'cuse me? I'm from the UK yet this is region locked?
thebritishgeek Same with Australia
Just me who thinks the intro has an extreme muse vibe?? :L
