I always thought of goal planning was for really big things and I found it very hard to figure out what my goals were. Seeing things like celebrating your birthday or learning a new recipe on your goals list opened up the possibility for me to actually set goals for myself. Thanks for sharing this.
Glad you found it useful! 💜 I don’t like to restrict my goals based on them needing to be big, even if I totally sometimes fall into the trap of thinking “this should be bigger” 👀 need to remind myself that not every goal needs to be a huge life-changing thing 💪
@JashiiCorrin for me, I don't think it ever occurred to me that they could be little things. I'm going to do something like this in the back of my hobonichi now!
You could google SMART goals, we use that acronym in my work. It’s a way to set goals in a way that’s achievable. Like making a series of small goals that help achieve a bigger goal. As a teacher, I’ve taught kids how to do this to set their learning goals without being overwhelmed. Just an idea 💡
Here are a few of mine - make macarons, make croissants, go to the dentist, vote, deadlift 300# (this has been on my list for a while, I think I can actually get there this year! 🎉)
I wanted to say thank you so much for normalizing imperfection and realistic scale in your videos. I know one of my biggest challenges in trying to maintain a journal practice is feeling ashamed when I don’t complete all the elements (lists, trackers, etc) that I set myself up for… largely because I tend to make those goals unnecessarily “big”! It’s so much more accessible and realistic to say “these are some things - little and big alike - that I’d like to do, but won’t be beating myself up over if I don’t”. Thanks again ❤
I put all my family birthdays on my 101 list because I want to be more intentional about celebrating those that I love, so each one is on the date of their birthday.
I was doing a post-Christmas cleanup today, and after organizing my desk I thought 'hmm... I have a lot of empty notebooks. What am I gonna do with these?' Clearly, Google was listening, because here I am! 😂 I'm not much of a bujo girlie (I'm too indecisive), but I've wanted to try a doodle-scrapbook journal for a few years and never got around to it. Maybe I'll start a journal just for my list! You could make a short (or not) journal entry for items that are more fun, and include a little scrap, souvenir, or doodle along with it! Next year I want to focus on small adventures - giving myself little things to look forward to so I don't spend all of my time stressing about the big things. I don't think I'll make my list 101 items though... maybe I'll shorten it to 40 or 50 for now.
I put in repeat items, like catching up with someone 4 times a year, go to an art gallery or exhibition 6 times a year, see 2 big release movies - so that's 12 items
My bingo card would be pretty big with 101 things 😝 probably just 100 to make it a 10 x 10 square 😅 but totally fair to do less things to keep it manageable 💪
One of my 101 items is to read a book that your book club is reading and I just got a second entry, to do your readathon so I really hope you put this together. Some others of mine are: volunteer for something, plant something, purchase someone's order behind me in the drive-thru, go apple picking, take a pottery class, and go to a play.
I was waiting for your list I already stared mine few days ago and set up 58 goals for now. Such as print pics from my phone, travel Bujo, make some biscuits, sell my old clothes, travel by bike, water bomb battle, and so on… pretty exited for the next coming year!
Currently binge watching all your videos and I must say, it's been MONTHS since I've felt so inspired to journal and keep up with it! Thank you for reigniting the love of journaling for me 🥰🥰
We got a sourdough starter, so we are going to be trying out some bread recipes. Maybe something for you to try. Or cook a recipe by your favorite RUclips cooker.
Wow!! I asked in the survey you put out a bit ago if you were neurodivergent, because I related to your struggles and fixes as someone who is AuDHD and here I see that you want to get tested! Best of luck to you, and I loved seeing you populate this setup. It inspired me to start a (much smaller) list in my yearly for 2024!!
Your 101 things and 2x for 202x lists always give me inspiration for mine, thank you! A couple from my list are going for a walk downtown at night with my boyfriend and doing NaNoWriMo. Some people might find walking around the downtown of a large city to be unsettling but for some reason I find it super relaxing, and there are some areas of my downtown that are really pretty at night. And doing NaNoWriMo is super loose here, because I don't think I'm going to have the time to officially participate, but I want to see how even just doing it for myself will help my writing.
This is creative to do to keep tabs on new activities to accomplish throughout the year. I think for me it would be easier to do month to month goals and activities in the year since my life is filled with surprises that may hinder or enhance my bullet journal experiences. Overall, very good realistic goals and thank you for sharing. You're a good journal mentor Jashii!
Wow. You are amazing. This is so inspiring to me. I love how you explain your reasons for putting something on list. This is a list I am starting today for 2024. These idea rattle around my brain every day, like someday I want to ……. I’m going to put them to paper. Thanks for your teaching skills. You are an inspiration to so many!!!
I am seriously considering doing this for 2024. The 1st 4 months of my year are crazy as a tax preparer in the US, so big goals don't tend to do well in those 1st 4 months. Last season could have been making it to the bed before falling asleep. Most of it was spent sleeping in my recliner. (Different meds then so might be a bit better this year.) But this and the 24 in 2024 are certainly looking like a good, productive, motivational tool. Extra tools in the tool box are always beneficial. This month has been 24 by 2024. I have way more, but I do 1 list at a time or as it nears completion, I replace completed ones with new things that come up.(Using milestones as stage goals and then upscaling as I go has been a successful go to for years.) I got diagnosed this year over the summer with ADHD complex as my inattention, inner hyperactivity, and low impulse control/emotional control were severe. Hyper focus has always been my best friend in the past in relation to important things. Heck, I have called my parents to say I was staying home to keep cleaning while the need to clean everything was consuming me. I mean I moved furniture to clean under and decluttered areas doing it so it is always a running joke and open offer (both parents are disabled so pain feeds into everything for them) to come do theirs after if still consumed in the hyper focus. My cousin about 6 years younger than me was diagnosed earlier, and she said her hyperfocus was never that beneficial. She said she'd forget to set alarms like I do to break the focus, so I told her how I cheat and set them for every day so they turn themselves back on without me having to do it. The only time I need to adjust is tax season where I can set my fitbit to buzz my wrist as reminders to eat, tske a few minutes break, time sensitive meds.... A set schedule keeps me better regulated as well.
I am going to put things like make my desk usable, go out on my own, return the snowshoes, go to dentist, go to neurology appointments, rest day prn, and learn one plus ways to be creative daily
I love this idea! Setting many smaller goals just makes more sense to me than setting a few larger goals that are less likely to get completed, I was stressing about trying to figure out my goals page in my bujo but I think now I'll give this a go! Thank you!
Dunno if you've already filled up your spaces and still need ideas, but here are a couple of mine from the list I just started on 01 March since I totally forgot to make my 101 Things at the appropriate time 😂 • Make and serve a 5- course meal. • Visit the butterfly exhibit at Cox Arboretum. • Stop in at every branch of the Dayton Metro Library. • Go bowling with my husband. • Make and send Xmas cards. • Dye my hair pink. • Draft a memoir. • Read a banned book. • Attend 6 OA meetings in person. • Hang wall decor now that we've lived a year at this address. • Purchase office chairs. • Attend a writing retreat. • Get my passport. • Ride the ferris wheel at the Montgomery County Fair. • Eat at the Troy Strawberry Festival. • Attend the Cincinnati Pride Parade.
What an excellent idea for a spread! I started making mine while watching yours. A few I've included so far are: buying a shed, planting a cottage/xeriscape garden, getting CPR-certified (not job-related, just because it could come in handy!), get all of my needed dental work taken care of, start hiking regularly, and complete the 1000 Hours Outside challenge.
I hope you don't mind me giving a suggestion, but you may want to look into a First On The Scene training, either with or instead of the CPR training as it also gives Stop the bleed, AED, Narcan, and Epi-Pen training with some basic 1st aid & a little CPR, too. Check with your local EMS, hospital, or American Heart Assoc. about it. Oh! And it's good for 4 years.
@@daniellecloward1623 I don't mind at all, thanks! I had no idea there was something like that - that sounds great, and probably like it would be much more practical for someone like me. I'll definitely look into that, thank you! ☺
I will start my first Bujo this year. I am so excited and am bingewatching your videos. I am still trying to figure out wether I should do it in my first or second language xD I think I will add a language list too!! Gotta learn some russian and bulgarian, maybe spanish and polish too :D
I LOVE this idea! It's so simple but you have a way of explaining things in an exciting way. Edit: I believe your way of taking things in stride and accepting that journaling should be helpful and fun is what makes your contents so useful. Cheers to 2024🥂
I was making notes while listening add to my own list in my yearly journal. A couple of my things are to start a spiritual book club, sound healing, fix the bed of my truck, publish a journal, start by podcast, pick thimbleberries, make peanut butter balls, see my friend, clean out bins in my basement and read 24 books. I left my teaching position 5 and 1/2 years ago and still have containers in my basement that I haven't gone through so don't feel bad 🤣
Pumpkin spice drink: my spouse ADORES all things pumpkin spice, and since his not-birthday is in October, his not-birthday presents are usually pumpkin-spice flavored. I just got him a new pumpkin PIE flavored sweetener (Torani), and though i despise all pie and most pumpkin spice, i was pleasantly surprised when i accidentally grabbed his cup.
I did a very small list last year and now that I'm looking at it I didn't do any of the things I put on it :( I think part of my problem is that I didn't look at it again so I have added "update list in March, June, Sept. & Dec." I'm also going to set calendar reminders so that I will remember to look at the list. I'm struggling with deciding if I want to put my lengthy house projects list on here or keep it separate. On the one hand it would be nice to have on here, but on the other I do like having all the house projects together.
I end up putting my house projects on both lists if I really want them to get done 😛 like on the home projects list because that’s the theme, and on the 101 things list because it’ll feel like more of a win that way 😝
I did it this year and, even if I couldn't do most of them due to some last-minute plan changes, I'm happy how they turned out. Thanks for your thoughts on this video. On to the next year!!
But then I can’t use (up) the copious amounts of alcohol I have 😂 in my letter to myself though, it’s normally a bit of encouragement, some wishes for what I hoped to have achieved during the year, some general chat about hopes for the next year, etc 💜
It’s a bit arbitrary, but normally the things that end up on the 101 things list are the ones that are either going to be fun, or feel like more of an accomplishment 😛 I also check in with the 101 things list more, so if I have more of a push to do that item, it’ll go on the 101 things list rather than the future me problems 💜 sometimes items from the future me problems list “graduate” to the 101 things though! Just when they become more relevant, or interesting 🤙
There was a JCC meetup in Melbourne??! How did I miss that!!! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤣 it’s still a trek for me, but I would have seriously considered it… lol! I have penciled in the bookshop hop in Sydney! That’s closer to me anyway! And sounds awesome! 😂🎉🎉 I haven’t made a 101 Things list in the past, but I am going to do a version for 2024! I’m excited to try it!
Nice to see an imperfect list. Like I mean as in you didn’t do things on it and start realising some of them maybe you can remove because they aren’t that important to you. Because I get seriously discouraged with most journaling videos ( well… especially those super nice bullet journals with drawings calligraphy. Always up to date calendars, tracking calendars, entries)
Some things on my list: getting a professional massage ( I like massages and it would be a nice treat) Draw a whole sticker design ( I have one at the sketching stages) Write 5 letters to anyone I know Style a wig I have had for years Bake bredele ( they’re thin biscuits with main flavours being cardamom and cinnamon) Workout my arms for gender affirming care Go out on an afternoon with the intention of taking pictures of things. Like with artistic intent. Make a drag look for pride ( it’s going to be a cowboy drag king) Learn at least 3 recipes from my grampa ( because if I don’t they’ll forever be forgotten with him) Drawing a mural ( this depends on finding either an abandonned wall or a willing person) Play chess2 ( it’s chess with extra dimensions it seems fun ) Do a puzzle Enter a stamp competition ACTUALLY decorate my room instead of having a pile of decoration that won’t move until I move out Make any kind of candy ( and then hate myself during the cleanup) This one is a fun one I want to build a raft and travel a bit on it on a river near my city.
I can’t remember if I did a float tank this year or last year, but it was really cool. Admittedly I did spend half the time pretending to be a mermaid so ymmv. 101 things is incredibly daunting to me, but a few things I would add to a similar list are organize my room, visit the botanical gardens, & maybe go on a date.
Not Welly , but Queenstown has the best Ramen i’ve tried in years so if you’re down there its called Ramen Ramen by Tanoshi Apparently they have one in Christchurch too
I really like your videos and ideas but is this redundant with 24’s in ‘24? (In other words do I need to think of 125 things(101 + 24)?? I’m not too creative..
I love this so much. I’m working on my own list and so far I have celebrate my birthday and new years, find a new park near me, write the government, and learn to crochet.
one thing I want to do the most is find out my blood type before I donate blood. and I live in New York so I will like to take my son to a Broadway show for his first time.
TBH, having such a huge to-list, no matter how small of individual things, is incredibly stressfully. If things aren’t checked off, I fail. I hate to-do lists of any sort other than those that absolutely need to get done
That’s fair. I like the longer list effectively as a way to have choice 😊 it also doubles as a list of things that were of interest to me during that year, rather than just things to get done 🤙
the adhd test is not needed, i can peer revieuw you, you are part of our club, welcome, just kidding tho, its better to have it on paper to see the things that are specific to you and can be worked on
If you are considering a will. Also consider doing a living will, and an end of life planner. Clever fox has a nice one. Also make sure your family knows you have them and where to find them. These documents would have been very helpful last year. Christina 🦝
I always thought of goal planning was for really big things and I found it very hard to figure out what my goals were. Seeing things like celebrating your birthday or learning a new recipe on your goals list opened up the possibility for me to actually set goals for myself. Thanks for sharing this.
I think we all do that. At least, I know I do, and it's still hard to not be like oh that's a task it's not a goal, for anything that isn't big.
Glad you found it useful! 💜 I don’t like to restrict my goals based on them needing to be big, even if I totally sometimes fall into the trap of thinking “this should be bigger” 👀 need to remind myself that not every goal needs to be a huge life-changing thing 💪

• Make and serve a 5- course meal.
• Visit the butterfly exhibit at Cox Arboretum.
• Stop in at every branch of the Dayton Metro Library.
• Go bowling with my husband.
• Make and send Xmas cards.
• Dye my hair pink.

• Eat at the Troy Strawberry Festival.
• Attend the Cincinnati Pride Parade.

I haven’t made a 101 Things list in the past, but I am going to do a version for 2024!
Some things on my list: getting a professional massage ( I like massages and it would be a nice treat)
Draw a whole sticker design ( I have one at the sketching stages)
Write 5 letters to anyone I know
Style a wig I have had for years
Bake bredele ( they’re thin biscuits with main flavours being cardamom and cinnamon)
Workout my arms for gender affirming care
Go out on an afternoon with the intention of taking pictures of things. Like with artistic intent.
Make a drag look for pride ( it’s going to be a cowboy drag king)
Learn at least 3 recipes from my grampa ( because if I don’t they’ll forever be forgotten with him)
Drawing a mural ( this depends on finding either an abandonned wall or a willing person)
Play chess2 ( it’s chess with extra dimensions it seems fun )
Do a puzzle
Enter a stamp competition
ACTUALLY decorate my room instead of having a pile of decoration that won’t move until I move out
Make any kind of candy ( and then hate myself during the cleanup)
This one is a fun one I want to build a raft and travel a bit on it on a river near my city.
Great list items 😄 super eager to make the float tank happen in 2024 💪
Sydney bookshop hop!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Heck yeah 💪 I’m excited 😄💜
I absolutely have to be at your meet up and the Sydney shop hop!! Please tell me when they are 🥰
I’ll let you know when I know 😛 It’ll probably be announced via the community tab 💪
If you don’t mind me asking, what’s a favorite things day as it sounds interesting and might be something I have on my list for 2024?
Effectively a day where you do as many of your favourite things as possible 😄💜 always a good time 💪
Thank you for sharing your list. It's a great trigger list for my own list😊
Most welcome! 😄💜 Hope it was helpful!
I love this concept
Glad you like it! 😄💜 I find it a lot of fun 💪
Do u have a link this is written out ? Or screen shots i can print off ??
Not Welly , but Queenstown has the best Ramen i’ve tried in years so if you’re down there its called Ramen Ramen by Tanoshi
Apparently they have one in Christchurch too
Oh awesome! Vogel and I have said we want to go back to Queenstown, so will have to make sure we head to that one 😄 thanks for the recommendation 💪💜
3:38 listinha the friends Felt like a friends Episode.
Victory for the external hard-drive! I love that you made it happen this year.
I was chuffed as heck for that one 😄💜
What is a favorite things day? Sounds fun.
are you based in wellington NZ? theres a japanese resturant called origami on cuba st that does good ramen, also very good prawn tempura
Oh nice! I haven’t tried their ramen, I’ll have to go back 👀💜
I really like your videos and ideas but is this redundant with 24’s in ‘24? (In other words do I need to think of 125 things(101 + 24)?? I’m not too creative..
They are separate! I couldn’t delete my post but figured it out
All good! But yes, technically, it ~could~ be redundant if everything was a double up 😊💜
I love this so much. I’m working on my own list and so far I have celebrate my birthday and new years, find a new park near me, write the government, and learn to crochet.
So tempted to put learn to crochet on mine too! 😝💜
One of us. One of us. One of us. (Autistic and ADHD)
😂 I just want it to be “official” 😝

My 19yo and I are both getting assessed for the tism in a few weeks! We're looking forward to having official diagnoses.
one thing I want to do the most is find out my blood type before I donate blood. and I live in New York so I will like to take my son to a Broadway show for his first time.
Those are awesome list items! 💪
Some of the things I want to do is go to an art museum, go to an outside movie, and try new hairstyle, and go to a play.
Outdoor movie is totally on my bucket list! 💪
What does “go to toast” mean? Several internet searches and I’m drawing a blank 😊
on that same note: what is VRA? everythig I find on that abbreviation does not make sense when it says 'finish VRA' 😊
Toast is a wine festival here in Wellington 😊 VRA is Video Ranking Academy 😛
@@JashiiCorrin Thank you very much for solving those mysteries 💚 🙂
I thought I was learning a new New Zealand expression and that it was some breakfast ritual like high tea 😂. Thanks for the explanations
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
the adhd test is not needed, i can peer revieuw you, you are part of our club, welcome, just kidding tho, its better to have it on paper to see the things that are specific to you and can be worked on
If you are considering a will. Also consider doing a living will, and an end of life planner. Clever fox has a nice one. Also make sure your family knows you have them and where to find them. These documents would have been very helpful last year. Christina 🦝
Interesting! I’ve not heard of a living will before 🤔 will have to check those out, thanks! 💜
