I’ve been android for 10+ years and I just recently brought my 1st IPhone on October 14th and I must say the fact that you have to go thru this to get custom icons is Disgusting! It took me a little over an hour but it does work. Thank you! Apple needs to stop the Bs and let apple users be free. This is craziness!! 😂

Now there is with iOS18.. if you select "Large" app size it will go away

You can change icons and add widgets on Android in about a minute compared to numerous steps and an hour later on iphone. It took me forever and watching you to personalize my iphone. Thanks for the tutorial.

wallpaper size is kinda small :/ 736x1632, and the resolution of the new iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro wallpapers provided is 1290 x 2796 pixels. But they are free so thanks!

I just updated to ios18 and now the calendar doesn't line up to the wallpaper. Is there an updated version? I still like this minimalist look.
Is there a way to hide the “Widgy” text from the widget? It’s really annoying and is putting me off using it…

Great video mate, love it. However, I tried for couple of days to use shortcuts for apps and I feel discomfort because I have to check do I have notifications or not, so I gave up. But, I really do like wallpaper and the widget. Where can I find more wallpapers like this?

What about notifications badges? I remember first time trying custom icons I opted out cause they didn’t show you badges. Do they show now? If not. How do you know you have notifications? Lock Screen notifications?
Still doesn’t have badges but I prefer it. Makes me use my phone less and doesn’t give me the urge to go into every app to clear the notifications😊
Just swited back to an iphone from an andorid due to peer pressure, and the amount of simple features the iphone is missing is absolutely rediculou...🤦♂️
iPhones whole theme is simplicity
But then if iPhone adds those features everyone is just going to complain about Apple copying Samsung or some nonsense 😂

The one thing that is disturbing to me is that you don’t receive notifications on the icon like for example, facebook or TikTok will not show a notification!? It may have the sound yes but if your around loud noise you will not know!?

Widget url is not working
It does work. The RUclips mobile app doesn't recognize it as a URL though, so it may be easier to use a computer or the desktop version of youtube on your phone to copy the link and paste it into Widgy.
@@MarkSpurrellI’m not using the YT mobile app, and it doesn’t work. I’ve copied it already, but after pasting into Widgy, I get a “failed” message. EDIT: It works if you just type it out.

I’ve used both android and iPhone for years and I’m just gonna say if you take price out of the perspective iPhones are the better piece of technology. The OS and stuff comes down to personal opinion, but iPhones are just more powerful. Considering the money though, android gives you way more for a reasonable price. If I was spending my own money on a phone, I would definitely go with a high end Samsung phone. Due to medical conditions, my insurance covers the price of my phones, so I personally use the 15+, which I prefer, but overall I think Samsung is a much more practical phone

I'm sure this is useful for some people but I'm not even interested in the content. I just wanted to see what the green 15 looked like. A huge part of the reason I use an iPhone is for its lack of customizability. I didn't want to be seen as someone who spends a lot of time playing with their phone.
This is the most annoying shit ever smh I literally just switch to iPhone and I have to do all of that just to get a clean screen?! With samsung it was only 2 steps . I hate it
