    Sorry about your crash. It should never happen. Every rider should pay attention and respect that the races is really long and the start doesn't really mean much. Glad to see you eventually get your breath back and gather yourself and move forward. Great mental toughness!

      I don’t have a doubt they didn’t do it on purpose.. I know it happens. But yes! Starts really don’t matter as much when you have 2 hours to put laps down 😬 maybe next time I’ll wait a couple seconds after the flag 🤣

    Ugh. Hate that happened to you on the start. But, what a come back. Great job! The congestion at the beginning was insane and I've never seen a course with so many line choices. Loved the video.

    Good for you to get up and get back to it!!
    Most people have no idea why we do what we do and most people would have quit after hitting the ground.
    But being able to pick yourself back up and keep going says a lot of who you are.
    Proud of you and made me a subscriber!

    Awesome race, it’s not how many times you get knocked down, it’s the fact that you get up every time and go for it. Well done❤

    You ride like a girl! And that’s way better than most of us guys lol. So proud of you to see you get up and get back into it. I subscribed as soon as you did that. I’ve been doing this racing thing a long time and I usually hold back on the start. I’m in no hurry to get to the 1st crash. Let the boneheads sort it out while I ride smart and pick the good lines. And you realize everyone you pass is a move forward. Great finish and proof you belong out there too. Having the wind knocked out of you is the most scary feeling, been there several times. I growl like a dog to get the lungs moving again lol. Glad you survived and persevered, that makes you a winner 🎉and you definitely have the skills

      Thank you!! I may take it easy on the start, maybe wait a couple seconds after the flag 🤣 starts aren’t too important when you have a couple hours to race!! Thank you for your kind words!!

    Holy smokes! Getting smoked like that, getting up and rocking it. Total BADA$$. When I get the wind knocked out of me I don't sound much different! My 13 year old daughter wants to learn to ride and I've been showing her Rachel Gutish vids. I'm adding yours too!

    Crashes like that happen to all of us - I think. lol ...but not everyone gets back on and continues on. Congrats for that and the very respectable finish. I got tossed hard at this race as well and got the wind knocked out of me and busted ribs. Also, your video turned out much better than mine due to a bad ratio setting when editing. See you at the next one.

    You're a rockstar. That was a brutal high speed low side crash. I know how my 51 year old self feels after hitting the ground at probably half that speed. Definitely no bueno. Way to push through it and charge. You had a great ride all things considered. Mucho respect, Josephine!
    Do they have two different Sunday A.M. races there like at Ironman?

    Not sure how I found this channel but great job. Personally if you had a headache you probably had a slight concussion after the fall. hey you gritted it out and finished. Stopping for gas, your just practicing for Baja 1000 haha

      @josephinegrissom216  10 месяцев назад

      Thank you! You’re probably right, but after driving that far to race I wanted to make sure to at least finish 🤣 dumb things racers do. And maybe one day I’ll need to stop for gas but that definitely wasn’t it 😂 thanks for watching!

      @josephinegrissom216 sounds like a 350. I'm a 2 stroke man, either buying a 250 xc or 350xcf. I live in NE Pennsylvania, the tracks are tighter.
