Hazard was a brilliant finisher, you should see stats on his shot conversion. The issue was he didn’t prioritise scoring and preferred to just be a creative player so he didn’t get too many goal scoring opportunities for himself in games due to unselfishness. He would often be creating from deep/midfield area whereas the likes of Salah play on the shoulder of the last defender. Messi of course is a freak of nature that is a combination of both

He did get injured pretty early on after going to Real Madrid, and then struggled to come back for about 2 years due to his unprofessional lifestyle. (He got the nickname "Burger King" by fans while in Madrid). When he finally fully recovered, he was genuinely worse than part-time players Real Madrid faced in the Copa del Rey, and rightfully spent more time on the bench than on the pitch in his final season in Spain. Best way to describe Hazard: Elite talent, pathetic mentality. And at Real Madrid you only succeed if both your talent and metality is elite.
nah eden hazard play well when he’s playing at real madrid , he never meant to be cr7 replacement by scoring goals 30+ a season. also hazard body shape is exactly the same as he used to be in chelsea . plus he’s been playing at chelsea for 7 straight years without injuries no problems whatsoever but got too many fouls in laliga everytime he got the ball, first time injury his ankle broke so he get surgery then he came back playing really well especially on that ucl vs psg game muenir tackled him hard on his previous injured ankles again then he need to get more surgery on that same spot and after that he never really recovered again after that . yea sure dude you could make an argument that cr7 is older than him how he is not injured ?, this two guys is not even the same you basically cannot compare them ,cr7 train his body for all his life and hazard never do weight training from the start of his football career but only basic things just to keep him fit so it’s make sense he cannot recover from this ankle injuries , unfortunately age caught to him fast but you still cannot deny even without that “healthy lifestyle “ you talking about his still ballin on the pitch everytime he’s on the pitch before that ankle injury
Mourinho predicted in 2015 that Hazard is unsafe and not protected by the English referee's. That it might one day hamper his future. He used to get kicked relentlessly because there was no other way to stop him. In the end, it burned his body at RM and he could never be the same Hazard. His mentality was not pathetic, he was unlucky.
I'm pretty sure I did write about his injuries at Madrid. The mentality thing was about his lifestyle, which was not up to standard for a pro, and severely hampered him after he recovered from his injuries. Remember, he was practically injury free in his last 18 months at Madrid, but he still didn't get to play much, and when he did, he struggled immensely.
@@nielschristianrodthomsen6797 how do you win multiple premier leagues, pfa player awards if your mentality is not that of a top professional? Not everyone is Ronaldo who can play till their 40.. Hazards body was just washed.
Exactly, Hazard's body was washed at 28, because he didn't take care of it properly in his prime. There are multiple stories from Hazard's former Chelsea teammates where they basically say, that the guy didn't really care in training and was completely switched off in the dressing room before a game, but then turned it on when on the pitch. That kind of behavior and lifestile is just unsustainable in the long run if you want to keep performing at the top level.
