That's a great speech about ADC mentality.
The main issue with adc this season though is that there is no agency to the role. You are perma weaksided every game as adc because junglers will coinflip the game for grubs and your support leaves lane for grubs so you just handshake waves until the supports come back and by then the game is already decided. Not to mention that riot made support dictate botlane more than before and intentionally wanted supports to dictate botlane. Adc just lost their identity and has become unfun to queue up. Our items aren't good anymore and we get outscaled by apc champs like seraphine and swain.
