Me and my wife have been married 3,5 years now and we still haven't go to our honeymoon trip (and we probably never will), so going 1 year later is totally fine :DD I hope you two have a great time in Maldives!

I'm so excited for you! ^o^ I hope you've been enjoying yourself!
Wow! Is it normal to be able to take so much time off work? In the US, we don't even have guaranteed maternity/family leave.

Amy He Australian full time jobs accrue four weeks of paid annual leave a year, some companies offer up to 6 weeks. 4 weeks is the legal requirement though. Plus we also get 10 paid sick days a year.

Amy He oh, i forgot about long service leave! After 10 years of continual employment with the same company you get 12 weeks off paid.

Natalie McCulloch That's honestly amazing XD I know it's probably super normal for you guys, but it's like unheard of here.

Amy He It seems pretty crazy to most Aussies that you guys don't have similar entitlements. They're so important for mental health and work life balance!
