KP´s development (His maturity/Being more Humble) these last couple of years have been great to see. He deserved to be an All Star this year, but if he continues this play, im certain he will be one next year

KP is having a great season, but am glad he’s got some extra days off to rest the ankle.

Barnes and Banchero are even less deserving than Randle. Only Randle grades out better than average in WS/48. None of those three are above average in Defensive Rating and Offensive Rating differential. That NEVER happens with all-stars.
Was saying it for a while and knew while he was in Washington that the Celtics need him as the final piece to the puzzle. Not saying he’s KG but he brings a very similar dimension to this team that KG brought to the 2008 team. Fit is absolutely seamless. The exact piece the Celtics needed to diversify their offense and continue to have great defense.

White is their 2nd best player. He's damn near their best player. Go look at the advanced metrics. White is absolutely unbelievable. KP definitely was definitely the best addition any team made last offseason though.
@JaGra-tm2mw I mean, if they don't win it all this year, there's a real argument for it. He duplicates a lot of what Tatum already does, but is worse at it.
That is one of the few real flaws of the team. Look at Denver. One of the reasons they're so damn good is that their starting lineup is 5 guys with distinct, valuable skill sets that complement each other instead of duplicating each other.
If they can get a good haul for him, which they probably can, they'd have to consider it.

The Celtics championship run rly relies on porzingis. If he is healthy all of the playoffs they’re going all the way, if he gets injured they’re second round exits at best. Cause we have seen how awful this team has played on the offensive side of things when he has not played

Wow, how awful 🤣 There was only one blowout loss and that was the Clippers revenge game when the C's couldn't hit the ocean from a boat, and the only time they scored less than 112 pts. They've been making it to at least the ECF for years without KP, he's there to take them over the top.

I understand you giving KP his flowers and as a Celtics fan he’s 100% a great addition. But to call a player who shoots 50% from the field ( Jaylen Brown) efficiency mediocre is absurd. And he’s definitely not the 2nd best player.

Hes been amazing this year but hes missed 15 out of 55 games. Health has been the biggest tiebreaker.

The selection process of all-star team, and even MVP is pretty subjective, no wonder JT made it clear: wining championship is more imporatnt than winning MVP.
K.P. is the best celtic on the floor this year and he should be the number 1 option so the others can feed off of him cause if they try to play the same game like they did last year it will be another failure for the celtics and both brown and tatum should be traded

I guess late is better than never, but it sure has taken people a long time to arrive at this. Randle, Barnes and Banchero are not all-star caliber players. Porzingis didn't deserve his first all-star appearance either. So, I guess things even out.

Not a magic fan but I gave watched a few games they not better without Pablo. Just another case of numbers being misleading. Also KP not better than brown his skill set it just more needed on a team with so many guys who can dribble pass and shoot. As a Celtic fan kp is a breath of fresh air for use at center when compared to rob Williams, but he's still a 7 footer who can't average more than 10 RBS.
He's one of the best when healthy. That was his problem in Dallas, he was never healthy.

He’s not an all star for all the same reasons as Aaron Gordon. All Star value/role contribution player, but ultimately he’s a third offensive option and a great defender.
KP has been the best player on the team this year. As good at Tatum is it's usually the other players who bail out the team throughout the last few years. It will be interesting to see if Tatum's ego gets to him and he demands the ball more in the playoffs. If that happens they won't go as far as they can with KP being the one who leads them down the stretch. They really seem to be over using him lately so I wouldn't be shocked if he gets injured. I've seen him near exhaustion in some of the games and that's just horrible coaching. Oh yeah, their coach has to go. He lives is wonderland or something. It's like he's not in touch with reality.
