I got called into the dorm counselor's office and threatened for reading in a dark corner of the lobby because people might be scared by my presence and hurt me in reaction. You're lucky to deal with rational people who get that other's being uncomfortable is not a crime that you can be charged with.

@@duckling2108 I'm white and the counselor was white i think, though appearantly he heard complaints from some minority girls who were spooked by me walking the dorm halls at night. My sleep schedule was inverted and the dorm was mostly empty at the time, so i see how seeing someone standing at the end of the hall in the middle of the night might be a jumpscare, but going to the councelor over that when i wasn't even doing anything is a bit much in my opinion.
Edit: the lobby reading incident happened in the morning when it was nice and sunny out.

He was caught trying to take pictures through a window to catch evidence of a party in a dry dorm. Dude seriously was walking outside the dorm looking in through windows to make sure people were behaving.

I loved the security guys in this video. They aren't required to have body-cams, but they still came in with their cameras on. That's professionalism right there. Kudos to them for having common sense, something that is severely lacking in this day and age.
