Welcome Guys! If I make it down to Sicily this year I’d love to come and visit your home and talk about the real cost of euro homes. So many people think they are really just a few euros and good to go. Good luck on RUclips and see you around! Brad
Hi guys!!! Love this!! Sooo- how did you get water back to the house?? Cant wait to see the rest! I am cracking up that the king of negotiation got 60% reduction on price. Hahhaaaa. Soo awesome. They didnt see you coming.
@@ElissaBenguerel Ha ha. The principles of negotiation are somewhat universal. Regarding the water, we will cover that comprehensively in a couple weeks. Stay tuned, and thanks for your comment! Cheers
Hi guys just found you!! I know the area very well and your just about 30 mins from my little town!! Looking forward to seeing all the work you've done!! Buon fine settimana.
@MoveToItalyNow the donkeys were an idea of our current mayor! It's a lovely little town and I've been here a few decades now!! My only problem is with beaurocracy!! I still can't get used to it!! 😊
@ We don’t like to share online our town, we are pretty quiet that way, but not far down the 113. If you are near Motta, probably less than an hour. We would be happy to be in touch!
Welcome to Sicily ,I Canadian born and raised , have been living here for almost 39 years , Im not to far, barcelona P.g , We own a tile/bathroom store. Do you live here all year round? I love Cefalu ,its so pretty. It would be great to meetup sometime tfs
Buildings were closed off because they dudn't have heating system and windows were heat dispersion and the opposite in summer thick walls and smaller windows could keep rooms cooler being in the shade
@@MrNoncredo Good question! Here in S. Italy it’s not how closely you follow the letter of the law, but who you know. We had an Architect who had in the local Comune. Not once did we have an Inspector on the property. The Architect assured them that everything was done properly and they bought it. Also, yes, masonry walls cost more to erect than the typical frame walls seen in America.
@@MrNoncredoNo no. Abbiamo acquistato permessi per tutto, ma l’architetto conosceva tutti al Comune e ha gestito tutto al cantiere se stesso. A proposito, il nostro Comune e dí solo 650 persone in totale. 😂
@@alemassa6632 😂 Don’t worry. Americans would love the adventure but only a very few will actually do it. Anyway, don’t you think a little repopulation of abandoned homes, with likelihood of renovations is a positive move in the right direction for Italy?
