These guys are a huge band and sing a lot of songs about LA. This one is about drug addiction and loneliness (Under the bridge downtown, is where I drew some blood, I could not get enough, forgot about my love etc) Anthony Kiedis is the lead singer and recovering drug addict. They have a TON of great songs.

It's about his heroin addiction. He would do it "under the bridge". They were all doing drugs early in the 80's and in the 90's it was bad. An original member overdosed so they agreed to get clean. But another member didn't stay clean and quit. He started recently playing with them again after almost 10-15 years to get and stay clean.
