As a Kyle Busch fan and finally seeing my guy have a good run, especially seeing it in person makes it even more frustrating. Cheating is cheating and obviously they should be punished if they did, but I want to know what the front facia is and how it gave them an aero advantage. Would be great if nascar made videos on how these violations actually affect the car in a race but they likely will never do that knowing nascar.
THEY WOULD NEVER SHOW ANY PROOF BECAUSE THEN THEY COULDNT LET THEIR LITTLE BOY NUMBER NINE WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP. I AM DETESTING NASCAR. THEY ARE LIKE TRUMP NOTHING BUT LYING CROOKS.
Wasn't found in prerace because they have certain areas of the car wrapped going through prerace inspection. So they evidently they haven't been checking that on any cars, before the race
The whole car is wrapped. I ve wrapped trailers n boats in the past. If your a trained inspector you would of seen it. That wrap gets tight around stuff
I really enjoyed watching the race even though Ryan Blaney had a tough day. The disqualification is such a shame as it just pulls the rug on all the great on-track action. They may as well have said the race just doesn’t count. There will need to be a definitive explanation as to what happened or fans will lose some faith in the sport.
Why? They've already said that material was added to the front valance (bumper) in an area not permitted to be modified. It's a similar circumstance to the waffle stamped area of the composite Xfinity bodies. If they elaborate on the details cool, if not, I already understand what the basis of the problem was.
They were talking to Ross at the Chevy stage prior to the race and a fan asked a question about favorite win and he talked about Iowa when he go DQ'd and he said he still has the trophy from that race.
They have already quit and not because of KB. NASCAR is too much like American politics at this time and they have decided to not spend their billions on such a dodgy deal...
Doug, they’ve decided to spend those Marketing funds in official sponsorship w/the NFL. They’re now the official candy brand of the entire sport, as opposed to sponsoring 1 single NASCAR team…it just makes more financial sense if you ask me…
Now I'm wondering how many times this has been happening with Gibs cars ,like when K B was busted for adding tape . I'm guessing they have been testing these waters for some time now.
They've been playing with the nose ever since the car came out they just got caught real good this time lol 3 to 4 tenths ,,,,wow I could tell from the start of that race they were doing somthing different and it showed
As all the haulers were leaving the raceway this evening, doing a final lap around the Pocono track, all but Denny Hamlin's honked and flickered their lights to the infield RV and Camping guests. Must be sad when you don't have the supposed winning car in the back of your trailer. Disappointing.
That was so classless for the interviewer to continue prodding responses . He should have stopped when he noticed her tears, but instead, he stuck the proverbial knife in for another gouge ! Shame on you Finish Line Reporter. That was NOT COOL , period. Do you have daughters, nieces ? If not seriously think of those your interviewing with same respect you would regard a family member or dear friend. Just not cool or acceptable in 2022.
Considering how well all the Toyotas ran at Pocono and the fact that Nascar doesn't complete post race inspections of every car it makes me wonder if all Gibbs cars had the same "modification".
As for Hamlin getting his "payback" on a restart, all the cars are bunched, he could have wiped out the ENTIRE FIELD! Worse yet could have killed someone. "Stupid" doesn't even get close to what that was.
Isn’t it wild that the crowd booed Hamlin loudly at the end…for Chase to win it’s going to make a lot of Pocono fans very happy when they wake up tomorrow 👍😉
If Hamlin hadn't knocked the kid into Harvick, Kevin had a strong chace of winning. He was running much better then Chase. If I was Kevin I would be kmocking Hamlin out sometime in the chase.
So a couple points to look at. 1, for as black and white as this seems how in the world did both the 11 and 18 think they’d get away with this especially with how fast they were all weekend which leads me to believe the 19 and 20 didn’t have this same alteration if you want to call it that since they weren’t the fastest along with the 23 and 45. 2, I feel as this is taking too much attention away from Kurt and the safety of this next gen car, I wish nascar released some sort of statement on what they’ll do next from this point on considering drivers have been complaining about more headaches and longer recovery time. 3, with this playoff system loss of points could mean absolutely nothing since all you have to do is win and your in. If Brad can win within these next few races then even with his big penalty he can still easily race for a championship so I wouldn’t be too upset if I were Hamlin or Busch but from the earnings side of it yeah I’d be upset.
People saying it should have been caught in pre-race inspections haven't been watching dirt late models the past few seasons with their droop rule. Several big names have lost big checks for failing inspection after running the same track three nights in a row and then failing after victory lane. People know the rule, know how to measure the droop, but still fail it with a 1" tolerance. The way Pocono played out may be new to nascar, but it sure isn't new to other forms of motorsports.
Chevys just have a huge advantage right now. Not much the other manufacturers can do as nascar can basically dictate advantage with the small box they have the teams in.
While we don't know the details of the rules violation,..We know that being disqualified rather than a points deduction or a fine means that the issue was a definitive performance advantage. Safety impacting rules violations don't involve being stripped from the win and disqualified., Performance advantages gained through rules violation get you disqualified.
Bet Nascar finds all the Gibbs cars Illegal but Bubba's even though he got a top 10 which on its own is suspicious enough to know his car probably illegal also
I hate that for Kyle Busch as he’s never bothered me in any major capacity! However, that imposter in Brett Bodine’s number on the other hand, never liked him to begin with so it serves him right! The last real men to drive for JGR were Tony Stewart and Bobby Labonte! Goes to show you how old I am!
Man Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch both seem so feed up with NASCAR before this happened..makes me wonder if they’ll both throw their hands up and say “ F*#%k it”
I never understood the logic of not stripping the win after the end of any race. I grew up with the belief that lying, cheating, and stealing should not be rewarded on any level. About time Nascar gets something right.
We saw Denny leave the media center before we left. We also saw Chris Gabehart leave the media center several minutes before Denny and Joe Gibbs left. We didn't hear about the DQ'd till we were on the turnpike heading back home outside of Philly. We stopped at the Allentown service plaza, other rave fans were there and that was the big talk. Some fans didn't even know till they were told.
RFK has had to run honest rides after being made an example of... that's why they won both daytona qualifiers and now run 15th to 20th every week. Surprised to see find something on the JGR rides. Don't worry Chase fans, they don't look hard at the hendrick cars.
I mean they did dq Johnson from 2nd place in 2020 in the Coke 600, and Elliott got dqed in Nashville last year, albeit for missing lug nuts, which actually hurt his car there, so HMS does have their share of dqs since 2019.
Dang...Denny! You know you're having an odd year when your team is cheating and you still don't get the win. Good luck getting these headlines back...and that trophy. 👍🏻
NASCAR should have never let the cars on the track if this was done before the race. If they don't take the wraps off in the pre-race, then figure out how to do it. I get it if its an in race modification which it sounds as if this wasn't....its a terrible look for the sport, frustrating for Denny fans who thought they saw their driver win and for Chase fans who didn't see their driver celebrate. Especially those that invested money to go to the race and devote a day to it. Bottom line is, that car passed pre-race inspection and this shouldn't have to be an issue.
You can't unwrap a car before the race. You do realize the cars are wrapped and not painted. My guess is they stiffened the fascia with something for more downforce.
That certainly should be the goal but JGR had to have thought they had a good shot at getting away with it to even try it so I’m not surprised with it not being found out pre race
To add- Chase fans don’t want to see a ‘win’ like this & I’m sure Chase isn’t going to feel good about it. I feel the most for Denny’s young daughter. When she burst into tears it broke my heart 💔
@@johnhaas2523 The answer is real easy.....don't mess with the car beyond what is allowed. CONGRATS. You hit #31 on trending. Can’t remember the last time a nascar RUclipsr or nascar in general got on trending. Great job!
And another aspect of this whole situation, what does this mean for Kyle Busch trying to get a new contract? Certainly seems like this will make that even harder to get done at least in the short term
It’s not even his fault at this point
This isn't on Kyle. He likely didn't even know about it. He's just the driver and has nothing to do with process of putting the car together.
Kyle B.is self inflected his own problems whit his attitude, I don't see how m&m lasted this long
@@MrMonk-wz7iu what? Lol.. Kyle Busch's career accomplishments has justified everything. Hof career, more wins than petty, championship, in playoffs year in year out, I can keep going. He's is and has been one of the best drivers in racing. He's backed his attitude up with his driving. M&m would be stupid to not back him. This dq isn't his fault. Dudes not even around through this process. He's a driver not the one who is in on putting the car together and he's not the owner. He's simply under contract to drive the car and bring wins. M&m hasn't been shit since ernie irvin til Kyle showed up
He should retire, already! He is VERY SPOILED BRAT! BY HIS ACTIONS ALONE, HE SHOWS NO RESPECT FOR ANYTHING OR ANYONE AND THINKS ONLY OF HIS SHITTY SELF!
Been watching this man since he was far younger than I am now in 2012 when he had like 3000 subs. This guy single handedly created a new generation of fans and nobody deserves to make the trending page more! Congrats Eric!
Now, imagine if Bubba had been in 3rd.
If that happened, the haters would be extremely angry.
They would’ve found something wrong with his car also.
The Q Anon conspiracy theories would start
It would have just given Bubba another asterisk win. I expect Bubba to win a few legitimate wins now that he's in top equipment.
Racists would be in shambles if that happened
As a Kyle Busch fan and finally seeing my guy have a good run, especially seeing it in person makes it even more frustrating. Cheating is cheating and obviously they should be punished if they did, but I want to know what the front facia is and how it gave them an aero advantage. Would be great if nascar made videos on how these violations actually affect the car in a race but they likely will never do that knowing nascar.
Check out race hub this week I'm sure they will have one as soon as nascar gives them the full info.
THEY WOULD NEVER SHOW ANY PROOF BECAUSE THEN THEY COULDNT LET THEIR LITTLE BOY NUMBER NINE WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP. I AM DETESTING NASCAR. THEY ARE LIKE TRUMP NOTHING BUT LYING CROOKS.
Sure he was cheating or NASCAR was blind. That should of been found in pre race bottom line
Wasn't found in prerace because they have certain areas of the car wrapped going through prerace inspection. So they evidently they haven't been checking that on any cars, before the race
The whole car is wrapped. I ve wrapped trailers n boats in the past. If your a trained inspector you would of seen it. That wrap gets tight around stuff
history will say Denny did a burnout for 35th place lol
I really enjoyed watching the race even though Ryan Blaney had a tough day.
The disqualification is such a shame as it just pulls the rug on all the great on-track action.
They may as well have said the race just doesn’t count. There will need to be a definitive explanation as to what happened or fans will lose some faith in the sport.
Why? They've already said that material was added to the front valance (bumper) in an area not permitted to be modified. It's a similar circumstance to the waffle stamped area of the composite Xfinity bodies. If they elaborate on the details cool, if not, I already understand what the basis of the problem was.
Denny and Kyle cheated they had material underneath there wrap that gives them way better aerodynamics
100%
Fans will lose faith in the sport??? LOOK in the stands, they already have! 😉😉😉
I'am all in to not wach the next race and just wach indycar
They were talking to Ross at the Chevy stage prior to the race and a fan asked a question about favorite win and he talked about Iowa when he go DQ'd and he said he still has the trophy from that race.
Cuz all 6 Toyotas just magically got faster at the same time 🤣 absolutely beautiful
Had an awesome time at the race and was happily eating dinner with my family on the way home when we learned about the DQs. Super upsetting :(
This is not good for the sport
Why not it shows they are checking for them cheating go nascarkeep checking
Makes you wonder if the other JGR cars are modified to
I bet they have been for quite a while
Glad we got to spend some more time talking racing! Sorry about the infield later on in the day, didn't wanna bother your work! 😅
This was just incredibly unexpected. I’ll take it tho…
Me Too lol #TeamHendrick
blood for the blood god
This just ruined my day, not only for the fact that Elliott won AGAIN, and I love when drivers make history
Its been a hard year for Larson fans and Keselowski fans💀
@@HanTheNascarGuy Also harvick fans
Really hoping Brad can get things going at Roush next year
Elliott is having I think an even better year than his 2020 championship year.
@@richxxya4238 oh yeah🤓
I'm guessing this will put a permanent end to any chance of M&M/Mars being involved in NASCAR in the future.
They have already quit and not because of KB. NASCAR is too much like American politics at this time and they have decided to not spend their billions on such a dodgy deal...
Will "Rowdy Energy" drinks sponser Kyle Busch?
They were leaving anyway
Doug, they’ve decided to spend those Marketing funds in official sponsorship w/the NFL. They’re now the official candy brand of the entire sport, as opposed to sponsoring 1 single NASCAR team…it just makes more financial sense if you ask me…
That was Joe Gibbs plan all along
Awesome Bill's son won at Pocono! Bill won 5 there.
What about the rest of the Toyotas. Just the two in front of chase Elliott
As someone who extremely dislikes Denny Hamlin and doesn't particularly care for Kyle Busch . . .
THIS HAS BEEN THE GREATEST TWIST REVEAL OF MY LIFE
That is an epic Chanel name. Bravo!
@@Everythingguy33 Thank you my guy! I combined two of my favorite things- NASCAR and Star Wars!
Now Denny Hamlin can honestly say "All I hear are cheers". Also, adding material to a part is definitely altering it.
Now I'm wondering how many times this has been happening with Gibs cars ,like when K B was busted for adding tape . I'm guessing they have been testing these waters for some time now.
I would agree. I think they have been too.
They've been playing with the nose ever since the car came out they just got caught real good this time lol 3 to 4 tenths ,,,,wow I could tell from the start of that race they were doing somthing different and it showed
Thanks for the update, thanks for putting so much work into this so late.
Chase Elliott won the 2015 Snowball Derby after Christopher Bell got DQed too. Lucky guy. Glad it's Hamlin getting bonked!
Chase Elliott wins SRX race after laps got cut and Newman got wrecked lol
Even with a 3rd place finish, Chase is still kicking ass!
Now this will really hurt Kyle Busch's chances of getting a sponsor for next season.
Congrats on trending
I love to see it
As a chase fan I was totally shocked when it happened
Chase let's go... all he does win no matter what.
Considering how well all the Toyotas ran at Pocono and the fact that Nascar doesn't complete post race inspections of every car it makes me wonder if all Gibbs cars had the same "modification".
Wouldn't surprise me they been doing it for quite awhile just finally got caught cheating
As a Harvick fan who knows he might have won with these disquals had he not been wrecked… I hated hamlin before but now…. Ugh this hurts
@@derjensemann6202 Correct on 3. If Brad made the playoffs he would start 10 points in the hole.
Holy shit we're on trending boys
Harvick has to be really steaming now.
As a KH fan best comment ever 😂
People saying it should have been caught in pre-race inspections haven't been watching dirt late models the past few seasons with their droop rule. Several big names have lost big checks for failing inspection after running the same track three nights in a row and then failing after victory lane. People know the rule, know how to measure the droop, but still fail it with a 1" tolerance. The way Pocono played out may be new to nascar, but it sure isn't new to other forms of motorsports.
Way to give Chase a win NASCAR….
Anything to keep Mickey fans happy…..
And your triggery is the cherry on top lol
Wtf does that even mean
Imagine being mad at the guy following the rules and not the two with the illegal cars 😂
I guess you forgot Chase was DQed last year at Nashville. If it was Reddick that won I bet people hardly have an issue you with it.
Best intro. "Well Sike" -Eric 2022
Nascar must be sure about this violation or they wouldn't have taken away the win.
McDowell is a fantastic driver. I hope his team continues to get better because if they do he will take them to victory lane.
Chase Elliott is so good he even wins when he finishes third 🤣
We all have noticed a performance improvement in the Toyota camp recently. Perhaps this explains it?
Damn 1st and 2nd place disqualified I haven't seen this since cal naughton Jr. Won at Talladega when Ricky Bobby and Jean Girard were dq'd
Chevys just have a huge advantage right now. Not much the other manufacturers can do as nascar can basically dictate advantage with the small box they have the teams in.
My guess is that they had something to block airflow without having to put tape on the grill, which they can't do anyway.
While we don't know the details of the rules violation,..We know that being disqualified rather than a points deduction or a fine means that the issue was a definitive performance advantage. Safety impacting rules violations don't involve being stripped from the win and disqualified., Performance advantages gained through rules violation get you disqualified.
Bet Nascar finds all the Gibbs cars Illegal but Bubba's even though he got a top 10 which on its own is suspicious enough to know his car probably illegal also
He finished 14th and 5th at the 2 races there last year, 10th is about right for Bubba at Pocono...
You racist by a hater?
I hate that for Kyle Busch as he’s never bothered me in any major capacity! However, that imposter in Brett Bodine’s number on the other hand, never liked him to begin with so it serves him right! The last real men to drive for JGR were Tony Stewart and Bobby Labonte! Goes to show you how old I am!
Man Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch both seem so feed up with NASCAR before this happened..makes me wonder if they’ll both throw their hands up and say “ F*#%k it”
Elliott is now so far ahead I think he can actually survive totaling his car once per round and still make it which is a huge advantage. Wild!
Chase is so far ahead now that's what I'm talking about let's go..
I've been cheering on Hamlin and I thought he won for real and now he got disqualified along with KFB. I felt heartbroken
And now you’re angry at Chase I guess
@@CJODell12 Nope! But I felt bad for Hamlin's daughter while she seemed so proud of him.
RFK has had to run honest rides after being made an example of... that's why they won both daytona qualifiers and now run 15th to 20th every week.
Surprised to see find something on the JGR rides. Don't worry Chase fans, they don't look hard at the hendrick cars.
You're a sore looser
I mean they did dq Johnson from 2nd place in 2020 in the Coke 600, and Elliott got dqed in Nashville last year, albeit for missing lug nuts, which actually hurt his car there, so HMS does have their share of dqs since 2019.
Dang...Denny! You know you're having an odd year when your team is cheating and you still don't get the win. Good luck getting these headlines back...and that trophy. 👍🏻
He got what he deserved still a looser always will be
Great meeting you Eric!
You would think as harsh as NASCAR has been with some of the other violations, teams would have learned from it. And for NASCAR to take away the win and second place this quick it must have been pretty obvious with no grey area.
NASCAR should take championship points from the 11 and 18
