Today is the National Day of Prayer in the United States. Please pray for my country. We really seem to have lost our way - politically, yes, but more importantly, spiritually. Professional agitators are inciting brainwashed, naive college students. And these are our future leaders? As a US Navy veteran (junior officer, post-Vietnam era), it breaks my heart to see what is happening to my country. I'm not sure if we can turn this ship of state around in time to avoid running irretrievably aground. From a human perspective, it seems about as impossible as turning a bird farm (aircraft carrier) around in a bathtub, but to the One who created the heavens and the earth, it would be child's play. You in Israel have the advantage of knowing that your country will survive. It's all laid out in Scripture. My country is not mentioned there, so I have no idea how it will end for us as a nation.
