- Wow. Thank you so much for 500 subscribers. In this video, I summed up some experiences I've had encountered over the years while visiting my local Guitar Center. This video is a joke and is not meant to offend anyone. I love everyone. A big thanks to Jared Dines: I saw his video on "Guitar players in music stores" and thought a drum version would be hilarious.

The “jazz snob” also known as the “I watched whiplash” guy 😂
“rUsHiNg oR dRaGGiNg?”
When he raised that hi-hat I knew I will have to clean up my display. So now I have to clean up my display.
"cOuNt Me A tWo fIfTeEn"
I watched whiplash and I also have that same coat...
i’ll cue u in! Caravan!...... 3 4! BA DO DA DOO DAA DA BA DO DA DOO DAA
I worked at a Guitar Center. You forgot the “kid with parents that let their kids do anything” where the kids just bash the drums super loudly and their parents don’t do a damn thing.
JD Rev There is a “that guy” for almost everything. 😂
Technically that could be the first guy but with worse playing lol
I work at GC right now, can confirm both video and comment. We purposely changed to only demoing electronic kits to save some noise, but (like guitarists and bassists) they just keep turning it up A L L T H E TIME
#1 covers that
Dude I saw a kid scratch the living FUCK out of a guitar. The thing was destroyed.
I knew exactly what beat the sax player would play before he had the sticks lol
Same🤣🤣🤣
Amen break right? Or am I an idiot?
Same
That beat is the "Smoke on the water" for drums lol. I literally mouthed that beat right before he played it as well
I did too!!!
I swear that everyone who uses the drum room at my school are all number 5. Which is a domino effect cause then you have to #5 it back to a normal setup and we all just turn everything upside down by the end
My schools drums is set for right handed players so I gotta move them around for left handed but I always set them back right handed when I'm done bit if my teacher says it's ok I'll leave them like that
@@thIDthIRreenactor hey better to play comfortably than to get used to an uncomfortable setup, although i personally taught myself to lead with both hands (am a right-handed person) and now i like having my ride cymbal by my high tom because i can play it comfortably with both hands
Dude I swear some of the people that set up the drum kit at my school are blind. Came into the practice room once and the kit stretched out to some ungodly length, the bass pedal was completely fucked (in the sense that the beater was touching the bass drum, which made it hard as hell to play on), and the amp (which is usually sitting on a table, and we have one at my school because the kit is electric) had fallen over
Dang I didn't know saxlogics brother was swole af
Yo the sax player one was so accurate. For some reason they always hit a cymbal at least once but without using the base drum at the same time.
Haha
They also feel the need to step on the hi-hat pedal on beat 1 for some reason lol
I play the drums and sax and i just want to say this is so accurate it hurts me deeply
yess!!! i know only one person that plays saxophone and when i saw him playing drums it was exactly like in the vid and like you said!
I just started the drums and I admit, this is the same exact drum rhythm I've been playing lately. Man, that's weird.
1:36 I like how he plays the Sax part too
yeah that's a trumpet
Trumpet my friend
Hey ok ok I'll edit
Not so easy to identify on a 2 seconds clip of some random 1950's shit ass recording
@@ivyssauro123 where’s the edit bruh
@@BobJones-bh9qz I just realized that if I edit I lose that sweet heart react so I won't, it will stand as a pillar to my ignorance
#5: Being a lefty drummer, that's totally me!! Except when I'm done,, I put the set back
I just don’t play at the store :(
Andy kallick me to but if my teacher says it's ok I'll leave them set up for left handed
Why is there less of us left handed i dont understand?
I just don’t know why more of us lefty’s don’t play open handed
I'm left handed here too, I've play open handed since i started though, way easier than moving around the set every time I play.
My jaw dropped when he did the saxophone one. That was literally the exact scenario I was in and was even the exact beat omg.
You forgot the one who lightly taps everything because he is too afraid to test something in fear of annoying everyone or sounding terrible. That’s me.
Edit: Then I buy something expensive I don’t really love and play it at home and realize I don’t like it
My high anxiety ass
Same
Saaaaaammmeee
. . .are you watching me at Guitar Center?
GOD THAT'S ME
The jazz snob with the extreme hi hat opening got me ded
Why is that the one beat everyone who jumps on your kit knows!?
Lotta music uses 4 on the floor
Dudes will hop on the kit and play that beat and be like “can you play this?” Like dude, if you can play it I can probably play it in my sleep.
That's universal? It's pretty much what my brother plays whenever he sits on my kit; I didn't know it was so common!
@@supremeskeet5393 where was the 4 on the floor lol
Or they attempt we will rock you and fail miserably
You forgot the guy with mild skills who barely practices but feels buying a load of useless accessories he’ll never use is the same thing
“Use brushes please”
*Grabs sticks anyways*
My favorite is the “Parker”. No, not the jazz legend, I mean the SOB that’ll park his ass on the set and simply get on his phone, ask attendants questions and all but sell empanadas on the damn kit.
Go play something else, Parker!! XD
ok, but that first description of parker is DEAD ON
I'll see what I can do...
😂 This comment is gold! 🥇
Ok
HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME
Used to work at Guitar Center a few years ago. All of these are accurate and they'd walk in every single day. Along with the guy that played the exact same slap bass riff super loud for an hour.
"The kid that comes right after school to shed." That was totally me with video games demos at EB games back in the early 2000's
guitar center drum kits be magically setting themselves up into all different types of whothefplayslikethis
No one’s got a gentler touch on the cymbals than dudes who play another instrument and then also “play a bit of drums”
And then there’s me: the quiet kid who might have talent but you might not know because they are terrified to play in front of people and they end up just sitting there with the drums to the point where there’s barely any sound being produced.
😂😂 „jazz snob” and „the kid right after school” is so on point 😀. But the funniest fact is that all these other musicians who you describe as: „the guy who know just this one bit” - they literally know only THIS PARTICULAR beat 😂. Like if the description „This one beat” can only be used to literally this one and none of the the others 😀.
2:47 The level of dedication to give us good content. Every drummer felt the same feeling when you did this😂
I love how much fun the saxophone guy was having
2:47 I'M SORRY I'M LEFT HANDED OKAY
Yay another left handed drummer my family is a bunch of left handed drummers ha there rare to come by
Same with me, but I made the switch to right handed. I recommend doing it. It allows your left hand to do wonderful things on the snare!
Watching the saxophonist play the drums while adding some rolls is so cute. He is trying his best.
LoL, this is hilarious! 😂🥁🎶 Thanks for sharing this bro. Keep up the good work and keep it coming 🙏😊
Why do I get the feeling that you're number 3 lol
Love this new drummer! He's sooo funny and he can really play! What a great combination! You're a stare in the making! God's speed!
The last guy is how you see the cheap drums on Craigslist set up and they’re asking $600 for it😂
Absolutely brilliant observations! Made me laugh so hard. Man your chops are as good as your observation skills . 🙏👌👋👋😂😂😂
Playing the bit at #4 is actually really high level playing
You just gotta play it super fast
this is the first video ive seen by you and i do not regret it. been here ever since this vid dropped
Yooooo I have the same ocean painting hoodie that he had on in the beginning😆. You got good style my guy🤙🏼
Your videos are so funny!
3:23 the devils drum set
Awesome vid!!
3:23 the funny thing is, that it actually sounds great
at 2:53 absolute TORTURE started happening but when he started literally playing WTF, naw bro you’re goated Fr fr
Bro like he didn’t even tighten the high hats I WAS PISSED😭 good video
Haha I knew exactly what beat the sax player was gonna play! 😂😂😂 Bro you're killing it!
Loved the wardrobe choice for jazz snob.
Love the vids bro finnaly i good drummer and entretainer😚much love from myrtle beach
All of these were accurate. Went to a performing arts high school, played guitar, best friend was a drummer, the after school shed shit is so accurate I felt like it was HS all over again... I may or may not be the sax player but just as a guitarist lol
omg the sax guy is literally me except I'm a guitarist, its even the same beat i know LOL
0:11 I love that the rhythm of the voice matches up with the drums
The last one is precious 👍🏻👍🏻
Damn, he really does play like a saxophone main.
Source: Used to play saxophone
This was a good one. Very accurate. 💯
Ay we got the same hoodie in the beginning fr🤙🏾💯
I’m the one who just stands there waiting for the other drummer to finish their chops
0:53
he really knows his work!
Man you not only great drummer but great comedian. Funnier than a lot of people on tv!
Get your own show!
This is great!
The last One Cries in lefty durms
Gotta give props for this one. Dude trashed his kit for a bit. That’s dedication.
You're the only person allowed to make these musician types videos from now on. All the rest of them are bitter and insufferable.
That last one is why I had an obituary written up for left handed drummers at school
Lmao that coat was so perfect for the jazz snob
I was the guy who stopped playing after a minute cause I'm afraid of being too loud 😂😅
That last one is so true! I play drums and whoever is in there before me has the snare tilted so high up and the cymbal so close to the snare it’s right in front of my face. And every time I go in there, he leaves it like that so someone else can fix it.
When "The Jazz Snob" hung the hi-hat up about 9 inches I spit my drink out. A college friend of mine (he was a jazz pianist actually) would do that to my set all the time. Used to piss me off 😂😂😂
As a saxophone player who does, in fact, only know that one beat, I am humbled
Everyone saying how hes funny and a great content creator and im just here like 'DAMN THIS DUDE IS A BEAST"
Probably one of the best drummers I've seen.
Hmmm... Regular good drummer, I think, not "one of the best"
Seriously
He’s a great drummer, not just a "regular good drummer"
Дмитрий Суетин lol then why is he a successful RUclips and you aren’t?
Bro!!! These are spot on!! Each time I hit up a Guitar Sucker or Sam Ass store, I run across one of these bozos. No wonder none of them can keep a drum tech employed.
Let’s acknowledge jus how nice this guy is on drums yo
That sax one hit a little close home for me lol to be fair. I am learning new beats XD
Also they have drums set up at your guitar center? Lucky
Props on getting on that whackadoo setup and actually busting out something that sounded decent
Laughed so hard by that hihat height adjustment in jazz snob
"The guy who has to move the entire set up" makes me die inside every time because if they change it as much as the video, they can't even play half the time and then blame it on the set up.
Setting the hi hat was the perfect detail for the jazz snob 😂
That's a lot of muscles and a lot of tasty chops for a kid
Fuckin on the spot my man... “can you just Hold on one sec....” FUCK! Genius true level shit and playing my man.
Well done!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahaha #3 used to bring my music books to practice
INDIVIDUAL G-STRINGS SIR YOU HAVE EARNED A SUBSCRIBER LMAOOOOO
How does this guy not have more subs like really
I was a sax player in school and that was the only beat I knew. Literally exactly everything that saxologic did
3:13 literally my mum ramming my kit into the corner of the room 😂
🤣 I have been told by a GC worker before that I was the only one who played the acoustic kit for so long without him having to tell them to stop. It took many times of me being told over the years before I realized how to do be properly dynamic and not disturb the working enviromment, lol...I still love to go in there whenever and jam out for 30+ minutes
I wanna learn these chops bro!
I about diiiied at the sax player part. I knew that was gonna be the beat hahaha
1.42 that's me lol I always come like to my drum teacher's room and always practice before my actually drum exam :D
LMAOAOA THE FIRST SONG YOU PLAYED
We need a guitar center drum prank!!!
I’m glad I’ve moved past the sax player stage being a saxophonist and a drummer
Lol at the jazz guys hat I’m that guy always opening the hats up
Straight fire
Yo! What's the sticking on the last one 🤣🤣 kind of like it 😬😬
I literally wheezed when he so poshly opened that hi-hat.
I got the exact same zaxby’s ad for both ads
This is facts somebody done put the ride on my left side and put a trash crash on my right side like I barely had time to switch stuff around 😂
#5 is me on the church drum kit after the other drummer played the week before lol
#2 spot on!!!
lol the move the set up guy killed me.
Absolute and Correct
bruh the moving the kit around one gave me so much anxiety 😂
The saxophone player beat, that's what I am naming that beat lmao. I have been trying to name that forever and you know hat makes that even funnier...I used to play the Tenor and Baritone sax.
1:58 Any way we could get a breakdown/transcription of this part lol. Especially that herta-ish pattern on the toms
yes i must go SHED THE DRUMS
I watched the last ad just for you. I will keep doing this. Please post more. Show me more ads.
(I skipped the ads in middle sorry 😐)
the earbuds and jacket 😭 that's so jazz
