  • "He dared to do the impossible, but he has never forgotten the child in himself and he did not stop playing. Because life is Movement! He fights against transience with movement, trying to express everything he feels.
He most often chooses the solo form, which is, when it comes to dance forms of a conceptual nature, extremely demanding and one of the boldest creative processes.
His visual metaphors speak of a higher reality, and like a mystic, he searches tirelessly for what is beyond the body, movement, beyond the intellectual, emotional. That which miraculously holds the sky full of stars and our dreams. Like the famous conductor Furtwängler, who was said to have managed to transmit to the audience, what is beyond the notes.
Milos Sofrenovic thinks he transforms feelings and words into movement, but he deeply believes that words are a mirror of ourselves, how we use them and what we want to save from the oblivion."

This TV Portrait is in loving memory of Ms. Borka Pavićević, the founder and director of the Center for Cultural Decontamination in Belgrade, Serbia. Due to her kindness my very first performance space in career became the opening section of this tv portrait.
