9:31 I rarely laugh out loud to RUclips videos, but I’m driving 10 hours, back from school, and I’m listening to the audio. I was focused on driving, but then I tune back in to the video to hear this.
You know, the fact Dave beats all these levels and doesn’t give up until he’s done so proves he has plenty of skill. Besides, it’s hilarious to watch someone fail the simplest of things, despite knowing you’d mess up on the same exact thing.

@@pumajlr Oh I do get that it was intended as a joke.But jabs fit between friends never hit the same with strangers. And although DGR took it on the chin, I still felt compelled compelled to bring some positivity where unnecessary negativity was brought fourth.
And I know far to well that it can be all fun and games until someone takes it just a bit to far, even if not intended to, and one mean comment really gets to someone.
I have had quite enough social interaction in my life to know that, despite what a proverb tells you, words actually hurt, thank you very much!

In the first level with the keys, it was just demonstrating how SMM1 handles the key overflow. That was all. Yes the track was too long. But the creator just wanted you to see no matter how you got them, only 3 keys are allowed (following you).

Dave you know how to solve level and you have more patience to retry them a lot like that. GG for this great vidéo. You still have to clear the worst level of MM1, the doors of the death or something like that. Even the creator have to clear it with a Dev hiden door to be able to post it before the creation server was closed.

30:51 DGR can have the worst luck sometimes, I laughed out loud when this happened :D
The P-Switch jump is still pretty easy in mario maker 1, you just need to jump as the P is pressed, NOT the top of the P. The P just presses slightly slower in mario maker 2 In mario maker 1, you can't jump off the P right when you press it, for some reason, so if you jump a bit later, it works. This was actually one of the first things I noticed in mm2: I stacked a bunch of P switches and hit them from the top, and noticed that it was slower and more choppy than in mario maker 1.

That Japanese speed run level was crazy; definitely a bit on the tight side, but the fact that worked it all is pretty spectacular (also that ending troll LUL)

Hi, I would love it if you gave my "uncleared" course a go. I think it's a fine normal enough course, but for some reason it has very few plays and no actual clears. It's been sitting there since 2019. :D

I said it's "uncleared" because it doesn't appear as uncleared in the Course World, but actually the only clears on the level are done by myself on my friends' accounts! 😅 I did them because I thought that it having at least some clears would help it pop up when people played endless. Alas, that hasn't happened much. It's a very short level with separate challenge rooms and it has checkpoints! :D I think it might be right up your alley. ;)
11:11 happen to me once. It was a demo disc of 10 arcade games and i ask if it was free even though there were signs. The woman looks at me for like 10 seconds then looks at the sign then back at me. I just walked away the disgust on her face make feel like a dumb child.

When I see there has only been 90 some tries by people,I think no one beat these levels because not enough people tried it, not because it's super difficult, if you know your jumps and how to perform them, play a stage that has had 2000 tries and no clears, as long as this game has been out, if only 94 people have attempted it, it prob means that it wasn't a popular level that many people knew about not nessicarily that it's so hard no one has cleared it
