Hi Dominique, I'm 75 and just found you on you tube. I love your spirit and appreciate what you do for women. I take care of my 102 year old mother-in-law in my home and have done so for 9 years. Im tired and weary from the job. I havent been taking care of myself very well but after watching your tutorials I have bought some makeup and am feeling good about being a women even at 75. Thank you for your time and effort.
Love all your advise on applying make up but I would also like if you can explain your cleaning face routine and maybe a deep cleaning for week-end spa improv at home. If I'm not asking too much, would like to see a video on how to clean all your brushes, how often, etc. I have found myself cleaning a brush after applying eye shadow fearing that the next time I use that brush it will have that previous eye shadow color. Your great ! please don't stop making these videos. Many hugs, Priscy
Great tips and I love how you detail your reviews of each product and when to use each. Excellent reviews on self . Thank you and have a delightful trip.
Ahh you are a mind reader & perfect timing D! I've been self tanning now for a little over a week prepping for our vacation and I was going to ask if there's anything you do to prepare for vacay! You've answered all of my questions from self tanning to what types of makeup you wear while on vacation .. Thank you for sharing! Hope you have a great time and share your destination as well as lots of pics when you return .. xo
I laughed at your comment about coming home lighter. We went to LA last week for Spring break and I left home with a tan and came home a whiter shade of pale. Funny how that happens. Time to re-bronze! Hope you are having a wonderful trip!
I recommend the St. Tropez mousse as well...and definitely purchase the tanning mit for a smooth application. Enjoy your vacation! Have a pina colada for me 🍹
First, I would like to thank you for doing your videos. I emailed you about ten years ago about your hair and you were gracious enough to reply. Jergen now has a tanning product that is a BB cream with SUNSCREEN and it is the bomb. I have 5 to 6 of the tanning products at any given time as I mix them up depending on time of year, etc. Love them all. I would like to share that they run $13 + at Walgreen's but are $8 + at Walmart. I order online, save at least $40, and they ship for free. Throw in cleansers, mascara, etc and you can save not only but time. Hope that helps everyone that hates to shop as much as I do and especially when I go in and they are out of product or color I need. Bless you, sweet lady. Suzanne
Hi Dominique I just saw your videos for the first time and they are fantastic, you are such an inspiration. I have spent a lot of the day watching you, well it is saturday so its back to house work now. Have a great holiday xox
Hey Dominique.......thanks for the heads up with these self tanners. I love the Jergens Natural Glow, it's my fav.......hope you had a fabulous March Break, take care.
Dominique, your tan looks so pretty!!!. I also use fake tan and I love how it makes my skin look. Many yrs ago I laid out in the sun, and went many times to tanning bed's!,.... and it caused a lot of brown looking spots on my leg's, I went to my skin doctor and needless to say he was very upset!! :( . He was the one who told me about fake tan and I have been using it ever since!! :). There are so many great self tanners now!!. I enjoy your vid's!!!. Texas Lady :)
I love IT Cosmetics CC cream - I tried a sample last year and was hooked. I am going to give Tantalizer a try based on your recommendation. You are gorgeous and we all appreciate your heart to share your favorite products and your routine. Thanks so much.
I always 'kick start' with the St. Tropez bronzing mousse and maintain (for about a week) by mixing and applying the Jergens Natural Glow and the Tantalizer together. The only complaint I have is that it will transfer to my bedding if I don't shower before bed. I was not aware that Jergens now has the bronzing mousse so I am glad that you mentioned it here. It will be interesting to see if it will be a more cost effective alternative to the St Tropez. I also enjoy wearing the IT cc cream in the summer but have always purchased the light/medium and have had to use bronzer and powder to darken it up. LOL don't know why it hadn't occurred to me to just purchase it in the 'Tan'. I think that will work much better! Love your videos!
Hi Dominique. You look fabulous! I'm with you on the tan-in-a-can! It's still chilly here but you can bet I'll be breaking out the fake tan as soon as it warms up! Have a wonderful holiday.xoxo Daphne.💕
I hope you're having a wonderful, relaxing vacation, Dominique!! Great tips! I definitely know what you mean about breaking out the bathing suit for the first time and looking like Casper. LOL! I wonder if the Jergens mousse is similar to the Tanwise "tan in a can" mousse. Tanwise is nice because it doesn't have that fake tan "aroma" like some of the other brands and doesn't leave your skin orangey. Have a great week and I can't wait to see what you have for us next week! XOXO, Cathy
Hi, great tanning tips! I am from the baby oil days for sure and paying for it! Going on a cruise soon and very excited to try these out! Do you apply them doing anything differently then what bottle may say? Like some people exfoliate before? Thx for any details, new to tan in the can method.
You made me lol! I remember laying out on my trampoline smothered in baby oil with tinfoil around me, spritzing with water... if I only knew then what I know now! I hope you had a great vacation :)
I used to use the hemp self tanning lotion you can get a big bottle of it at Sally for about 8 bucks Walmart for about six, it gradually works but u notice a diffrence after one use wonderful tan it's better than the Jergens but now I do the Versa Spa at my tanning salon which is a stand up bed you stand in and the Machine sprays you awesome awesome awesome
Love the video! I'll be going out today to purchase some of these products. If possible can you list the products in the description section- this prevents from having to rewind to see the name and specifics of the product. Thanks! xoxo
I love that you share the products you use in your videos. It's great to be able to try something I know works! Going to pick up the Lorac Tantalizer :)
I was wondering if you have ever used St Tropix? If so, what was your thoughts? I have used the Jergens also but found the St. Tropix works and lasts so much longer. Love your hair.
Ok Dominique you've mentioned the California bronzing powder quite a few times now so guess I need to give it a try. So where do I buy?😉 Hope you are enjoying your time with your family. I just love your glow in this video💋
I have recently started going to GloSUn and love it! With the Jergens self tan and instant tan, any specific application instructions? Will have to try it!!
Love all the products you mentioned! I hear that the Too Faced Royal oil is nice too! Have you tried it!? That's one I haven't! I hope you are having a wonderful vacation! Hugs! Karen xoxo
Have had a fun time today watching all you videos. Not only was it informative but enjoyable! I have one question; I have one eyebrow higher than the other. I have tried all different techniques in filling in my brows but it's still considerably higher. Have you ever come across anyone with this problem??
In the 80's, I used to use a combination of one part baby oil, one part vinegar & a few drops of iodine. I don't even know where that "recipe" came from. Lol
Fabulous tips as always! I need to start getting my tan on too! I've never been to one of those spray booths but I think I might try it this time :) xoxoxox Shaz
How are you able to apply the self tanners to your back? I like the Jergens also, but unless I ask my husband (which I really don't like to do) I have the darndest time getting an ALL over cover. I have even tied clothes & sponges to a long back scratcher, with minimal results. I am not a fan of self tanners myself, but have used the spray type, but again, unless it is "rubbed" in it is blotchy. Could you give us tips on this? Please & Thank you
You're on the right track! I use a lotion applicator on a stick. I think I found it at Bed, Bath & Beyond, but here's one on Amazon... www.amazon.com/Aquasentials-Aqu-3611-Easy-Lotion-Applicator/dp/B001D8ZGAM/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1476676524&sr=8-2&keywords=tanning+applicator
I know how you feel about the pale skin!! I use 2 have a nice bronze color but now I can't go out on the Sun ! So I do use the fake tan also ☺️ I like tha u did this Video on my Birthday Also, have a great Vacation ☺️☺️😍
Where are you? I know you probably want to keep it a secret. I live in a resort town where lots of Dallas folks visit so I'm curious ;) I live and work in Seaside/Watercolor Florida. I guess I'm just hoping to run into you. Great videos, btw!
As the WHITEST PERSON IN THE WORLD -- thank you for this! Clarins also makes some fantastic fake tan for face/body... Also, it is supposed to snow in NYC tomorrow... so we will all have to hold off on the fake tan just yet...
I do not tan..at all. I burn. I'm curious, I didn't see anyone ask. 1. You get a spray tan 2. You maintain that tan daily with Jergens tanning lotion Then use the other products as needed? Or do you use all the products layered over each other on a daily basis
Diana Valdez from what I understood she gets one professional spray tanning before her vacation then she maintains it with the lotions when her color starts to fade off. Not daily just when needed.

Over40BeautyProductQueen Yes, funny :) I know where you're coming from..
I love the Jergens BB Body Cream in dark. It gives me color without having to lay in the sun and bake.
I recommend the St. Tropez mousse as well...and definitely purchase the tanning mit for a smooth application. Enjoy your vacation! Have a pina colada for me 🍹
Amber Elster I'll give it a try :)
You should do a professional dress video such as outfits to wear to an interview, job, etc. love your videos!
I was just thinking about this, so thanks! Maybe add links to the products in your description?

Two products you might like are St Moriz tanning lotion and Sally Hansen airbrush legs. I hope you are having a fabulous vacation. ♥ Elle
Great suggestion! Thank you..
Loving Tan mousse is the absolute BEST self tanner you can buy. NO orange at all and leaves a gorgeous natural color.
Dominique, your tan looks so pretty!!!. I also use fake tan and I love how it makes my skin look. Love St Tropez tanning mousse - it gives such a beautiful olive color, not orange.. plus it doesn't smell like self-tanner.
Thank you! I haven't noticed a transfer to the sheets with the tanning mousse
Beautiful bronze glow - very natural! Enjoy your vacation. xo Lois
Llphi Thank you, Lois!

Hi Dominique. Do you use tan-in-the can on your face? If so, which one do you use?

In the 80's, I used to use a combination of one part baby oil, one part vinegar & a few drops of iodine. I don't even know where that "recipe" came from. Lol
