Honestly my best vet bait was just getting into the game and saying "Huh! I actually like this role."
Got mafioso, janitor, SK, witch, and one unlucky BG that night and was instantly confirmed, and got to start the next morning by going "And that's why :)"
I did that once just saying “yay my favorite role” worked really well the first time I did it, never worked again.

I once vet baited by claiming sheriff d1, and alerted. Got every evil possible on N1, and the GF left. Instant game end.

This is the same vet bait I love to use. It confirms you, kills evils, and gives you complete control over the town the next day. I have been waiting for a youtuber to finally do it, and I even posted one of my attempts to reddit.

You confirming yourself on pirate reminded me of a vet game i had where i did a weak bait n1, but wasnt attacked, saw someone died to pirate, and at the end of d2 said "Pirate on me". He pirated me that night, he lost the duel and died to vet, i just said, "Vet bait on pirate complete. i am now confirmed."
Now try saying "PARTY AT MY HOUSE!!!" first turn. Never goes well, but it's really fun. I killed 3 transporters and 2 tp/ti roles all on night 1 lmao
I go for the "I've died n1 4 games in a row pls leave me alone evils". First time I did it I killed 3 Bodyguards and a Mafioso, 2nd time I did it I killed an Arsonist, a Witch and a Godfather,
I had a game where the was literally 0 town and 4 arso's won, including me. There were 5 arso's, 2 jesters, 4 maf, 2 sk, 1 surv, and 1 vamp.

For some reason, during many of Pipe's All Any games that he publishes, there is a GA that always has a Mafia as the target. Its not in all games and it may be a coincidence but I still find it funny.
My best Vet bait got me killed by Pest.
Funny N1 Veteran story, I had an SK game where there were these two people "hat cat" and "cat hat". I chose to stab "cat hat" because the name was confusing, and the next day, they were killed... By three SKs. I think most of town thought it was just a glitch because it was less than a 1/600 chance on the role list, possibly rarer than in all any, but the death note wasn't mine, so I knew the truth. But what is crazier? Cat hat was *Veteran*. No one expected there to be three SKs who ALL stabbed the same person ON NIGHT ONE though. Just imagine if veteran pressed that one button... (btw SKs quickly gained majority and all three of us were alive and won at the end, Godfather was the only other person left and we scumread the flummery out of him)

I only stopped watching after I quit the game, but now I stumbled across your channel again, and it's really entertaining! For some reason youtube unsubbed me, but I'm subbed again. My best vet bait was naming my self mafia cant kill me while having a veteran scroll. Then i became vet and vet baited by saying "Im unkillable, thats why mafia cant kill me" 3/4 mafia, NK(i think it was arso game), i also killed a townie in the process. First mafia left on d1 for some reason. We won on d2 just like that.
My best vet bait was a D1 bait, when Jailor came out. I whispered them saying, "Doc on you bud" because I'm giving myself away as TP/LO so I would be targeted (specified role in case of BM). Was able to kill a Mafioso, Janitor, and SK N1. This was kinda low elo, since I'm pretty new to ranked, so it seemed natural for a TP to whisper Jailor D1
In low elo the meta is playing classic. It's like they never watched a ranked video, played ranked practice for long, or haven't played in years.
I've won more games by claiming invest as a consig in low elo then trying to fake another claim because you look "townie". lol
I haven't played town of salem in a while and this vid is giving me the urge to play it. Great fucking video mate

My best vet play instantly finished the game in Day 2, the GF left the game, Mafioso, Framer and SK visited me, Lookout and Doctor also visited me and the end of the game.
This reminds me of a game when I was ww and 3 of the mafia attacked me (mafioso, janitor, and consort. Idk why consort rbed but they died for it). N4 I killed The Godfather and then I just gave up on the game.
Maf be like: I'm going to waste everyone's time and draw this out 3 more days than necessary because reasons???

I’ve actually killed more in one day. Claiming Vigilante in all any d1 can lead to crazy things. I killed literally half of the town once.
I got a good vetbait the other day. I did a crap bait Day 1, then said that I messed up my vetbait Day 2. The GF comes after me and dies N2. The metavetbait.

One time I had a vet that shot 5 people in 1 night. 4 town 1 sk. In total there were 7 town.

A fun thing to do, is claim GA, and keep saying like "Rbd" or something until like n3, and then claim that someone that died was your target.
Best vet baits are those that aren't even vet baits. Just act like super town, point out important info, ask quiet ppl to claim. If you get asked to claim, that person is either bad player or evil. Claim TK, there is no reason to claim specific vet/vigi even if NE isn't witch. If you act townie enough and town isn't dumb, you shouldn't get lynched even when you aren't confirmed. Optionally you can whisper transporter/TI to not visit you, but it depends if there could be BMer and how much confirmed they got (transing +2 ppl is basically confirmed, finding 2 evils is basically confirmed)

When I will be vet for first time (I was never vet), I would say I'm the doc and every evil will turn onto me so I go alert and boom tactical nuke
How to kill your TPs and LOs in one easy step! Most evils won't hit a doc claim that night because they'll be expecting a self heal from you.

(I never actually claimed vet and said one of them went on the vet and the other got witched, also the actual witch got cleaned)

Kinda the point f the mode is that its pure chaos. Without knowing how many evils there is you can kill a lot of townies without knowing.
I've seen a game with 3 townies end in town-victory. We even got two of them lynched. The big help was evils killing each other and an en-pointe jailor plus the two exes siding with town in the end.
