So, many of you know that we are talking about a German tier ten medium tank. Unlike the older E 50 M, this unit does not have such strong armor, but looking at the Leopard 1 characteristics, you will understand that this CT has a lot of other advantages.
The first thing I want to say is that our unit has an unremarkable HP reserve among tenth level tanks and, what is very important, a basic visibility of 410 meters.
Regarding the other Leopard 1 performance characteristics, the main and only truly noticeable drawback in our case is the armor. Indeed, this German’s armor is “cardboard,” we can easily be penetrated by almost everyone we have to fight with, and even the gun mantlet is not capable of withstanding a blow.
If you look at the mobile parameters, they are incredibly good for Leopard 1 in World of Tanks. The dynamics and maximum speed of the car are excellent and everything is in order with maneuverability. We are so fast that even the turret does not always have time to turn when the target is spinning.
The next important and again very strong aspect of the game on Leopard 1 WoT is its weapons. There is an excellent 105 mm cannon with an alpha strike of 420. Perhaps the damage per minute, which is approximately 2700 units, is not the greatest, but this is small compared to other characteristics.
The Leopard 1 gun also has good armor penetration performance for the basic sub-caliber projectile. The premium one, which is also sub-caliber, does not have enough armor penetration and sometimes it may not be enough.
In terms of accuracy and shooting comfort, the German medium tank Leopard 1 WoT will pleasantly surprise its owner. We have a small spread, very fast convergence and good stabilization. And the fact that the gun tilts down by as much as 9 degrees makes our car incredibly comfortable. You just have to take into account that when you turn the gun back, it sharply loses its degree of tilt; this is a very important point.
Advantages and disadvantages of Leopard 1
As you have already noticed, this Leopard 1 review is written in a very positive way, but this is the honest truth, because this car really has practically no weaknesses, it is a very strong top-end mid-ranger. However, we will still highlight the strongest and weakest points to make it easier for you to navigate.
Pros:

•High armor penetration rates;
•Excellent mobility (maximum speed, dynamics, maneuverability);
•Good overview;
•Comfortable vertical aiming angles.
Minuses:
•Very weak armor;
•The gun does not lower when the turret is turned towards the stern;
•The ammunition rack is located at the front and we often get damaged.
•Not the best tank in the current meta.
Despite the fact that we have a really strong vehicle in our hands, the main noticeable drawback of which is its weak armor, playing with this tank is by no means easy.
For Leopard 1, combat tactics involve positioning on the second or even third line in order to minimize the very same lack of armor. By taking a good position and not getting caught in light, you can very effectively deal damage and save strength points until later stages of the battle.
