The Southernmost Spot in Fuerteventura - Punta de Jandia 🇮🇨

This place is at the very south of Fuerteventura 🇮🇨
Here you can visit the museum inside the lighthouse (Faro punta de Jandia), there is also a guide who explains and gives you info, and it is free of charge!
Close to it is “El Puertito”, a group of few houses overlooking the ocean 🌊 You can find a restaurant here.
From the lighthouse I walked up to Punta Pesebre and on the way I stopped at Playa de los Ojos, where you can get down if there is low tide 🏝️
From Punta Pesebre you can continue walking and there are some trails you can follow, the path here is flat.
The area is very windy too, so I would recommend taking something to cover your ears👂🏼. I didn’t and I ended up with a slight headache.
I went there by bus (guagua 111 from Morro Jable) but it’s better to go by car so that your time is not restricted. The bus runs twice a day and I also had to walk back for a while and someone gave me a ride back to Morro Jable luckily (I wasn’t on the bus on the way back, long story!) 🙏🏼 otherwise I would have had to walk while it was getting dark… and there are no lights on the way, it is pitch black at night!
As you can see in the vlog, this is a wild area, there isn’t much to see but you can enjoy nature in a very peaceful environment. Would you visit this place in Fuerte? Leave a comment! ⬇️

Great vlog. You are such an adventurer, Go girl keep the video captures coming. I was in Corralejo 13/01 to 20/01 loved the holiday break though first 3 days the weather was unusually very cloudy and windier than normal. does not put me off wanting to go back to this wonderful island again and again. Back in UK experiencing awful cold wintry weather condition yet again. Enjoy your travels looking forward to next one
