For those unaware, the achievement "The 501st Legion" for Rexist Belgium is a reference to Star Wars, where Captain Rex (as in Rexist) leads The 501st Legion alongside Anakin Skywalker
@@georgeaxolotl7539 You’ve started a geekoff. Anakin was the commanding officer. Ashoka/Rex held equal rank as second-in-command. Ashoka and Rex defected during Order 66. Appo was then promoted to commander of the 501st
5:06 that is Maria Josepha Sophia de Iturbide, who is a descendant of the first Emperor of Mexico after independence was won. She can be placed back on the throne of Mexico in the Habsburg path
23:00 , when you do the civil war and get the navy to join you, you have to promise them to build up the navy in two years, if you don't the will coup you.
23:03 From what i've seen from a video of Stakuyi who had early access, during the german civil war you can get the backing of an admiral to get the Kriegsmarine to side with you during the conflict but in exchange you have to later complete certain naval related focuses, otherwise he will launch a rebelion. I'm not sure but perhaps that's the way he becomes leader of Germany, just get him to side with you and then ignore the focuses
@20:37 In the dev diary on Congo focus tree, there is a focus that will allow Congo to gain independence without war, and if you do go the independence by war route, there is a focus that allows you to win your independence by controlling Congo's 3 major cities, so you do not need to get your army all the way across the ocean and land on Belgium. So this shouldn't be as hard as it seems. The only real issue, is I believe the French own some of Congo's cores as part of their African colonies. But again, I believe there is a focus that lets you ask France to hand over the French Congolese states.
I would have liked them add the imperial palace for Japan. But if you damage or destroy it it gives a positive modifier for Japan due to their fanatical devotion to the emperor.
I think there is going to be a small focus tree for Luxembourg. Its communist leader is currently Gustave Lebeau so there are either changing the leader or adding a small FT
I always found it funny how the argument against space mini-game was always "Nah, it is too early in the timeline, it is not possible, why would we do that...", while at the same time having the most batshit crazy alternative timelines for various countries that would not happen if you branched out a thousand different realities. Albanian world conquest, restoring Romanovs or restoring French Empire... all fine and dandy. But moon base by 1946, now that's a step too far? I am not saying it is possible, but it is just curious where they draw the line.
Thanks alot - I think you are the only one with a guide out on this. So is Charles Marx the default Commie ?? leader for Lux ? Or do we think there might be a surprise mini focus tree - like for Iceland ? Cheers, MMM
Understand what you mean to my knowledge Paradox didnt use AI, I think the Problem is how they Smooth out the Skin in the Portraits, ai art generator often depict skin in a similar fashion
I think you're majorly overthinking the Congolese Belgium achievement unless you need to own, not control the land. Break free, join Axis, get war score, ask Germany for control of Belgium.

Wow please speak up to make sure all 3 star wars fans who didn't know this can hear you.
Rex wasn’t the one to lead them, it was commander Appo who lead the attack. Rex was with Ahsoka when order 66 happened

@@levipierson4946 Clearly people have found my comment insightful. It was also not mentioned in the video

4:14 "proper roman soldier" is in fact the winged hussar xd
I think he was reffering to the third image, not the one with the Hussar and motor vehicles

You have to control BELGIUM’S starting states
I better be able to recruit Nikola Tesla to create super soldiers armed with death rays
He was retired by then i think

5:44 above Edward Teller, it's Irène Joliot-Curie, daughter of famous physicists Pierre and Marie Curie.
6:44 This feels like an Austro-Hungary dlc, the German rework was the cherry on top!
11:08 Basically describing Kerbal Space Program except in a real-life timeline lol
Average hoi4 player after dlc : now im become death ...
... The destroyer of my sanity
4:19, technically they are both hussars. The armor and clothing matches, and there is history between Hungary and Poland when it comes to that thing.

Well, shit
9:09, I see you in the top right corner there, and yes I did start humming the MASH theme
"A comet is something that appears as an event...."
That gave me EU4 PTSD. 🥴
Wooooo can't wait to play the dlc
Where is the Horten Ho airplane??

So Otto-man is the new version of Mikloš Horthy and the Habsburg Prince?
Does the old achievement remain?

Its just the art styl. The old Portraits looked the same, even before ai
I think they choose that main menu screen cause otherwise they have to put something related with demonetized german flag
really cool
WHERE IS THE HORTEN HO ????
All I can say is Hoch Habsburg
