    🛒 You need:
    ☑ jute cord
    ☑ bowl
☑ liquid clear glue (the one that becomes transparent when it dries)
    ☑ water
☑ a big balloon (inflated at the size you want the orb to be)
☑ optional: glitter to put in the glue+water mixture (my glitter of choice is always gold)
⭐How to make a big twine ball
Place the twine in a bowl with a mixture of clear glue and water. Try not to dilute the glue too much with water, just use a bit of water. Inflate a balloon to the size you wish and secure the end with a node.
Secure the end of the rope with another piece of rope, while wrapping the twine all over the balloon. Wrap until you get to the desired density.
Apply just a bit of pressure on the cord before wrapping, this way some of the excess glue is removed. Keep in mind you need to leave if a bit of space empty for you to be able to insert the string lights later. It needs to fit your hands. See the video to understand what I mean.
When you finish the orb, cut a piece of jute cord, place it under one of the wholes in the design and hang it in a moisture-free space for about 24 hours. The next day, cut the end of the hanging piece of rope and punch the balloon with a needle or toothpick.
Ideally, the space you will display the orbs in should be moisture-free, but even if you have some humidity they should stand strong during holidays. In case they soften, with time, there are 2 possibilities:
    1. Either the glue was too diluted
    2. The moisture got to the twine
    Happy Christmas decorating!
