8:03 Mike still going for that ASOM "sympathetic look" haha More power to him! RIP Denis. I don't think I'll ever get over how much I could identify with his general demeaner when I was in highschool. He passed away right when I started 10th grade in 2000 and I had only been turned on to SD for about a year and a half. He didn't say much, he physically had the same kind of small mouth I have, blond hair, I almost feel like I subconsciously and unintentionally mimicked his stage presence and posture while playing guitar. Watching him perform in videos helped me find my identity at that age, I only got the chance to see SD live for the first time about 6 months after he passed away in Anaheim. He appeared to be the chill one, Mike was the cool one, reminded me of myself and my bandmate best friend.
Still......I saw them last CHRISTMAS/NEW YEARS EVEish?? and there was 3/1 ratio dudes to Chicks....but, to be honest....Concerts are are always filled with Pretty Girls in Southern California
only a True Man can wear "Penny-Loafers" on Stage......and not get Fucked With!!!(Beer can/bottles thrown at you)cause people hate people that(look good in snappy shoes) go against the Grain.....Who cares what shoes he's wearing.....I guess you do

Thanks Chris for this! I met you and Mike in the Hollywood Palladiums Parking lot this year. We were all greasers then and still are today!
Thanks for posting this. I was a freshman at UC Irvine and this was one of my first concerts. Had a blast!! Can't believe it was 34 years ago.
Glad you enjoyed it!
First time I see SXDX played Story of my life on RUclips in 90's era
Sounds pretty horrible but it’s still Amazeballs!!! Thank you Chris!!! I’m guessing you put this up, viva the PIKE!! I love that place.
love the pike, every year i go out, Chris is gracious to his fans.
I was at this show with my friends from Bakersfield
I think I was at this show! My first time crowd surfing and moshing. 😃
One of the loudest gigs I went to. I think its a tie between Social D, and Dinosaur Jr for loudest First Avenue gigs that I went to.
huh ?
We lov u Chris!!!
back to you !
Thanks for posting.
It’s hard for me to wrap my mind around this being over 30 years ago.
🤔
Great little documentary and live video!
Saw them in the 80’s at Irvine Crawford Hall. A few songs in a riot started and the show was cancelled
Good times
