Hi! Would you recomend this starting formicarium for a young Camponotus discolor colony with aobut 10-15 workders? I bought some recently and i am wondering if i am able to just place them in the Mini Hearth right away or i should wait tell about 20+ workers? Thanks! much appreciated.

I would wait tell you have workers for your queens best chance of survival

The formicarium is such a good size for a young colony, it’s possible to put a single queen in it and skip the test tube entirely though it’s best to wait for around 10 workers to movr them in.
