Sounded like Totally Thumpin' Todd was going to break into The Candyman on that first tune. I'm totally impressed with the versatility of the Edibles! Hey #JenLens Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, hear ya next week!
The official in-house band, Edibles at night - last words: 4:57 "I was born in Ventura" lol... that bass was the bomb!! Don't forget Joel on percussion. Loving the music guys! Ok the strat is the “ventura strat”
Love the tone of this bass, very smooth and definitely funky!!! Another prime "Edibles at Night" jam!! Just a thought what do you suppose would happen if the boys decided to do a dual Bass VI episode?? Jen have a wonderful couple of days away from the store, and I saw it mentioned somewhere here in the comments but a couple of produced tracks could be fun, you could sell them and put the funds towards the Midnight Mission!! Just a thought originally sparked by Matteus Del Claro!!
awright awright , edibles at night , that first song was tight , very well done , that bass just has such great tone , very funky , the second song was a little loose tho a groove eventually set in and was hot in the middle for a bit , the ending was a complete disaster but for completely impromptu , I'd give it a B. Always fun on thumpin thursday anyway , thanks guys.
Awesome as per usual! Would love to see some more...obscure covers...such as the daft punk one! Honestly I think I watch that video at least once a week. Let's hear Rapper's Delight by Sugar Hill Gang! That would be amazing
damn 12 pounds? it's a slab of wood and some strings how is it possibly that heavy? i get a Les Paul being that heavy but wow. and Todd's right, that one drum beat does sound like Float On a little
JEN is So HOT..... Some Lucky guy Better Snap her Up!!! Alright, I digress, Man Lemmo has got a real problem with Norm Playing around with their Name. Todd and Lemmo sounding Great as usual....I wish I could hear Todd alittle more, Anyways Big LOVE to ALL at Norms, be Safe Jen.....🎸💚
Very cool bass with an amazing sound, Very well done Todd. Well done Lemmo, those were all the right chords. That said, Will someone PLEASE take a large hammer and smash that stupid drum machine into very tiny pieces!! Just give Joel the drumsticks and PLAY!!!!
There is an easy experiment you can try. Plug your guitar in and rest the part that would be on your knee on a wooden dining chair, or a table or something, and play some notes and chords. The guitar has to be in pretty good contact.
I hate being a dick but the quality of the information in these videos has taken a hit since Agnesi left. I mean all they have to say about that bass is that it’s heavy? Really? The jam was alright though but maybe a tad boring.
Oil Lease how the hell was SRV inventive? he was a very good blues/Jimi hendrix style virtuoso guitarist indeed In a best way possible of course, but inventive? Have you ever listened to Sonic Youth, Pixies or My Bloody Valentine? Or even the late 70s post punkers? Now that’s inventive.
@@masonharris9166 It would be hard to be a blues rock player and not be influenced by anyone who came before. I might be a bit biased since SVR was a friend and a Texas boy.

That was awesome guys!
Way to slap it Todd! So talented- and Sir Lemmo- you are my friggin hero!
Smooth and FUNKY. Todd you make me want to learn the bass. Thanks guys for the jams.
One of your best to date, even to FunkyForTomo....
AWESOME!!!!!! You don't suck.
That was great man! Great musicians!
Very groovy!
that was awesome thank you guys
I bet that J bass could smack the drum machine clear out the door if used as a bat.
Black guard and parts on a SB. I can dig it.
Okay now that they’re playing y’all kind of did a real good job
first song was beautiful. gj
You did good Todd.

Damn that binding and those inlays really add a lot of weight ! 😉 Great playing as always guys ! Thanks Jen and enjoy your days off ! 😎🎸🤘
E.A.N. World tour!!
I don't always get a strong vibe from the basses, but this one definitely had some thump and a beautiful tone! Great work Edibles at Night!
Fireee🔥🔥🔥
Edibles doing a great gig as always! Great playing guys! However! Gotta do a Maton!
Way past. They already did one - you snooze, you lose.

The key to the tone is the weight...it definitely does matter if you're looking for that super up 70s J Bass tone...nothing like it..
My mind just made ANIMAL!!! the muppet, the drummer of The Edibles.
More Music Man, please!!!!
Edibles should cover REM - Gardening at Night and make it the Edibles theme song. 0o
Greetings! ✌😀
Yeah... E.A.N...
👍👍✌🏼
What was he name of that tune that started at 8:04 ?
The second tune sounded really funky until...well you know...somebody fucked it up😂 Go Edibles! 👍👏
Jen you can leave all the plants will die
JEN is So HOT..... Some Lucky guy

Moon walking would have been good on the second song!
I think you stash them at night and they end up as Edibles on the Drive To Work
Very cool bass with an amazing sound, Very well done Todd. Well done Lemmo, those were all the right chords. That said, Will someone PLEASE take a large hammer and smash that stupid drum machine into very tiny pieces!! Just give Joel the drumsticks and PLAY!!!!
Wow, I'm here early.
I really miss Todd
Norm you need too get the California boy back he.
Another Fender imagine that
Look at the comments. No one wants animals, it's Edibles. Stay with the original.
Get down, get phunkay....
ANIMALS ON EDIBLES IN THE EVENING
If a part of an instrument vibrates when the strings are struck, then it affects the tone that the pickups reproduce. In my opinion.
Only acoustically. Plugged in the sound leaves the guitar before the wood has any effect. Just another opinion.
There is an easy experiment you can try. Plug your guitar in and rest the part that would be on your knee on a wooden dining chair, or a table or something, and play some notes and chords. The guitar has to be in pretty good contact.
Tasty ‘
Animals at Night is the better name.
WOW! That neck needs some alignment.
First.?
Lemmo looks like a really chill dude, I want to smoke weed or maybe just have a beer with him.
Maybe a nice IPA
Don't be a knob, Lemmo!
Talk about the guitar !! Dam so much pointless convos man I came here for the guitar
aye fuk u lamez
Funny two or three times, maybe. But it's getting to be too much like a stupid ritual. I hate stupid rituals. My vote, lay it to rest.
I hate being a dick but the quality of the information in these videos has taken a hit since Agnesi left. I mean all they have to say about that bass is that it’s heavy? Really? The jam was alright though but maybe a tad boring.
Norm is not funny, at all.
Michael Gallagher well thats just like, your opinion man.
That's what fast forward is for.
@@guitarocd9984 instead of yellow & black I say he looks like a grey smiley face LOL
Come now, yall can do something more inspiring than that.
SRV was more inventive when he was 16.
Oil Lease how the hell was SRV inventive? he was a very good blues/Jimi hendrix style virtuoso guitarist indeed
In a best way possible of course, but inventive? Have you ever listened to Sonic Youth, Pixies or My Bloody Valentine? Or even the late 70s post punkers? Now that’s inventive.
bb king and Jimi Hendrix was very inventive
But SRV was inspired by those two’s playing and took it further with faster fingers, that’s not inventive.
@@pstrokeslibsarctic Even calling BBK inventive is a little bit of a stretch.

this is sure to piss people off; that todd guy is the worst. i just don't like him. could anyone expand on why he comes across in this way? cheers
