YOUR HAIR! It was just a glimpse, but I want to see more - tres chic🥰 Anyway, thanks for taking us to the real thrifts in Brooklyn. Such variety! ...maybe after Covid I’ll be able to hop on the Metro and ‘go to town’🤗
I will try to go to ALL those vintage shops you have listed when I visit NYC this Winter and darling...YOU DESERVE A MILLION SUBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Cmon guys subscribe to this AWESOME GAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!she saved my life and no longer needed a personal shopper (sorry was fired ) and saved tons of $$$$ !whether online shoppings (you get a discount with Karen, or walk around NYC cuz everyday is a treasure box!!!) I LUV U KAREN thank u! got so many items thanks to your suggestions and discount code
Domsey Express, Broadway Fashion and Goodwill have great stuff, as well. But LePoint is on point, with more options and lower prices. I used to go to MyUnique in Fulton, but according to Yelp it closed down. I'm loving Poshmark these days, getting bundles left and right. It's super convenient when you're at home and don't feel like going to the stores and getting disappointed when you don't find things that you like, in your size.
Oh my gosh what a gold mine you guys found. I live in NYC and have been to urban jungle (not the other two shops) and was sad to not find much at all. I went about last month so maybe it was dry season or something? I'm planning on going maybe this coming week. Hopefully I'll find something.
The carrot red dress thingy is actually very Indian. Looks like a semi-Anarkali. I have no clue how to not wear it at an Indian wedding. Would love to know how you styled it! Also, thanks for sharing this!
That red thing with stains is an Anarkali punjabi! it's traditional indianwear it comes with leggings and a dupatta... wonder how it ended up in there. I've NEVER seen it styled with anything other than what it's supposed to. Though there are A LOT of different styles of this wear.
I live in Central America and we get container ships of stuff similar to this. Sometimes designer label. Granted I have to pick through MOUNTAINS of current junk fast fashion dumped by the chains or faded out Fla t shirts. everything has been laundered or dry cleaned before export if used. I find cashmere that reeks of too much cleaning fluid but air it out for a couple of days outside and you have fab cashmere for $2.00 in perfect condition. Beaded tops, handbags, some designer but not Birkins of course, new boots last year's styles but I don't care. Best finds: a Ralph Lauren label in suede jacket to die for, a full length black leather coat in perfect condition, many silk shirts.mostly women's, even some vintage silk charmuese which I love with jeans and men's shirts galore. Every week a treasure hunt! When in cities on vacation everyone should shop these stores as there ARE treasures. If in countries they export to, head to the mercados often called "paca" ...so much fun if you are at all adventurous.
Love the thrift stores you guys been into. I'm new to these type of things so very excited things to see. Ps you can you see the shop name if you look to the left it says the shop name lepointvalue but either way like the video!! :)
Hi KarenBritChick I am a new subscriber who absolutely loves everything about your channel, style, everything LOL.......I'm planning a trip to NY first time every (I'm a country girl who loves high fashion) would mind giving me a few vintage shops as well as thrift stores I should visit while there PLEASE thanks
Velez: I am 69 and love fashion, love your sense of fashion. I also love minimalism, oh noooo what todo? I am in NJ and plan to vicit BROOKLYN, just to shop like you did. could you write the names of the shops and addreses? I had a hard time reading what you wrote in the video. Congrats on your blog!!
Emanuelle Gomes Yes, even in Paris, and Germany I was shocked by the prices. London is the leader in vintage fashion and has already established high prices. They say to watch London because they are front runners in Vintage and hope in America the cost does not inflate like the U.K. Yes I agree with you, it was expensive.
See this is the thimg...in order to have really cool/incredible thrift/vintage shop you have to have a population of citizens who have cool ass style and taste w/o that you have Salvation Army of Cincinnati Ohio whow whow :(
Just as soon as I get the damned stimulus, package, I am going out again, I haven't been in 4-6 months. I am itching all over, to get out,..! Damned government takes so Fking long,..! Why,..? Why don't they just approve the damned thing and argue about it, later,..!!!! Plus, we need money for food as well.
Manon laviggne California Cypress Hill Insane in the brain it was a big hit in 1990s it was made to annoy lol😂😂😂my mom hated this song. It played everywhere especially on MTV.

like I seriously can't believe how cheap. VINTAGE CLOTHES ARE SO EXPENSIVE HERE IN THE UK

same in Italy, you can't find that kind of store in my city and if there is anything cool+branded =crazy expensive
Do you still go to these shops and are the finds just as great along with the prices ??!!
Where is the first store located?

96 Knickerbocker Avenue in Brooklyn, I've been to a few other locations, never this one.
