I am very happy to know that you enjoyed it. As you hear more of his music you will begin to notice different versions of the same songs. I am guessing because he performs live a lot and no two performances will be the same and he does a lot of spontaneous things in his music. So you might run into a version of the song where he is not using the drum lol :) Thank you for your comments, it definitely helps me to get his music out for anyone open to hearing something new!
There are a lot of his songs where he just plays acoustic guitar. The first thing I saw was THE LABYRINTH SONG. Look for that, you'll love it. Another stand out track with just acoustic guitar is GOLD SHADOW, where his voice is just set free, and the poetry is so beautiful! There's another version of that with his small orchestra, which is a fantastic performance as well. In that same setting is PART OF THIS. That's a whole different thing, but still fantastic!

I discovered Asaf in April this year. I think he's awesome! Totally unique! His musicianship and poetry are both worthy of high praise, and then THAT VOICE!! He really is something special! I've shared loads of his videos on my Facebook page. I've seen his videos with dancers and actors in, but they are unnecessary. He's the star! He's fascinating to watch. He's got real STAR qualities, yet he has humility, which is another admirable quality!

If you live in the U.S. There is a show on Netflix called "DARK" its a German film dubbed in English. If you've seen it, in Season 2 Episode 6 a song called "Twisted Olive Branch" is played and in Season 3 Episode 4 another song called "Labyrinth Song" Those are both his and more recently the show "KAOS" (Also Netflix) in Episode 4 his song "Darkness Song" is featured. Through "DARK" is where I heard him for the first time, looked him up and found all the rest of his music. Glad you enjoyed it 💛

@@uptnogd oh, I have been keeping a peripheral eyeball on Asaf for awhile. he has improved a great deal and he has that rare "natural" blues voice.
