Hey man,I watch your videos every day.You have great content and taste in black metal.I discovered a lot of amazaing bands thanks to you.I hope you won't stop doing this.Cheers.
The UK black metal bands in my collection are Abduction, Archaicus, Arx Atrata, Fuath, Heathen Deity, Ninkharsag, Saor, Waerteras, Winterfylleth, Wode and Wodensthrone. Hopefully I haven’t forgotten any. Also worth mentioning are Craven Idol and Hellripper but they are more hybrid type bands.
If you're still interested in getting more Drudkh-esque stuff after you're done collecting the tapes I'd recommend checking out the band Astrofaes. It was basically the vocalist's precursor band to Drudkh and you can see how he developed the sound into what would eventually become Drudkh. Everyone likes to credit Roman Saenko with the Drudkh sound but Thurios (the vocalist) deserves a lot of the credit too in my opinion.
Great Channel man ! Really enjoyed When you talked about our band gates of ishtar :-) finally a swedish merchcompany has released a couple of designs only for the logo and the a bloodred path cover on both shirt and hood ! Really Nice music You are covering 👊👊
Actually we are putting some riffs together with an intention to get something new out , i really hope we Will… the new riffs are in the ishtar vein and in No totally changed musical direction . I released a couple of songs with Henrik Åberg from battlelust / mörk gryning under the name my bloodveiled skies which was more into black metal but with the melodic touch from ishtar 👊👍 anyway , great collection ! And keep up the Good work !
Good shit man. Always intrigued to see the new additions to your collection. For myself, I finally put my foot down and got all of Judas Iscariot's main albums in my collection, plus Moonlight Butchery. Would still love to get An Ancient Starry Sky, Under the Black Sun, and March of The Apocalypse, though. Such a great band. My grail is still a Vinterland CD. I'm so jealous you have multiple copies of welcome my last chapter on different formats. I really don't want to spend like 80+ bucks for a CD, haha. Just gotta be patient I guess.
Temple of Darkness records may still have copies of that repress in stock. I know he had them not too long ago cause Im friends with the guy on Facebook who runs the label.
Absolutely cool recommendation from yours side without any doubts , my recommendation is, do not die with water in yours hands ,die with beer in yours hands😉.
Celestia is my favorite black metal band and Frigidiis Apotheosia is my favorite, Apparitia was one of my first black metal purchases ever back when it was reissued in 2006, I would highly recommend giving their flawless discography another shot, hell anything that Noktu does is incredible including Gestapo 666 and Mortifera. As far as UK black metal I agree, though i do highly recommend Albionic Hermeticism and Thundering Hooves... great Arckanum score too
By no means an expert on UK black metal but Ninkharsag released an excellent album this year. One band you should def check out from the UK if you're not familiar is a band called Forefather. Their music is kind of a hybrid between traditional metal, Viking Metal and Black Metal and it results in a pretty unique sound. Everything I've heard from them is fucking great man
@@MotleyCrueforever1 give Steadfast a listen. It seems to be the gateway album for most fans. It sounds like if Maiden were influenced by black metal. Their clean vocals can be pretty bland but these guys write some killer music. Engla Tocyme, Ours Is The Kingdom and Last Of The Line are great albums too
Have you listened to Ungfell? Also if you dont already know Ninkharsag (which i doubt) you should check them out, great UK band. Also recommend Karelian Warcry
There really is no secret to starting a collection. Just start buying cds and records that you want lol and if you are planning on having a larger collection, buy shelves ahead of time. Distros to check out all depends on what kind of shit you’re in to. I always tell people to start with Hells Headbangers as they have a wide variety.
The thing you said about cussing in black metal lyrics... I have always felt the same way. It rarely enhances anything, and usually only belongs in lyrics that are more related to basic emotions. Look at BLACK FUCKING MURDER! One of the only moments on that album where they throw out the word Fuck, and it fits perfectly into the fury and bluntness of that track. But if every other track was full of fucks it would not feel as primal and hateful.
If you ever wondered what country produces the most amount of bands in this genre, this video shows how it has changed through the years and how it caught on in the States. The bigger question is what country produces the best black metal? I know you have one fan that will say Slovakia. ruclips.net/video/9JtVtkwBzu8/видео.html

Great black metal collection Bro, seems like you’re keeping it up!
I don't know why but the tomb raider glare made me laugh. Love the videos man, never stop

@@MotleyCrueforever1 I'll check it out, thanks!
From UK a couple that i think yet were not mentioned in comments: Revenant Marquis, Frosten, Thy Dying Light, Nefarious Dusk
Thy Dying Light and Nefarious Dusk are great. Revenant Marquis I dont care for. Frosten I’ll have to check out.
Frosten is a great project.
definitely check out more SAD stuff. I'd recommend "Alpha Voyage" and "A Curse in Disguise" but their latest album is great too.
Absolutely cool recommendation from yours side without any doubts , my recommendation is, do not die with water in yours hands ,die with beer in yours hands😉.
finally i always look forward to these!!!!!!

Celestia, Mortifera and Epheles all rule this world
Cool update. Did order Empire Of Tharaphita immediately. It seems like, there will be vinyl release, too. And Arckanum are holy grails for me!
Nahemia is a great UKBM band. Also Old forest is another classic, if you haven’t heard them, their debut from the 90’s is the best.
Great stuff. UK black metal to check out: Winterfylleth and Anaal Nathrakh.
Winterfylleth is great, AN I dont care for.

That Ninkharsag album was solid. Forefather I have not heard.

I dont think Ive ever listened to Ungfell tbh. That new Ninkharsag album was solid, I just thought it lacked anything memorable.
@@MotleyCrueforever1 Please listen to it, it’s awesome, german folky black metal, reminds me a lot of peste noire
Will do
Could you make a video about how to start a Cds/Vynils collection? Like: Tips for best price, best mainstream/underground shops, ecc...

Yeah that song is one of the exceptions I was talking about lol and that literally is one of the best black metal songs ever.
Men that Celesta tape 🔥🔥🔥

Another good one
Still waiting see some Costa Rica Black Metal band 🔥

Darkthrone is overrated and hasnt released a good album in over 20 years.
