There's a reason why I dislike dolls. When I worked nights in a nursing home, they had dolls, cos the elderly ladies liked to fuss over them, and they were so spooky, especially porslin dolls

Matty is the dolls name and was a massicot doll for the Mattel toy company, it has a pull string in the side of its neck and when you pull it, it will speak 11 phrases. it was made in the 1960's and i took it home the spring of 2000, at only two years old. When i was in kindergarten the pull string broke and i was gutted, matty ended up in the basement after that, 20 years later i actually dug him out, cleaned him up and found out how to repair his voice box. he now talks again

The box had had its lock popped out, so no one could unlock and open it. This sends alarm bells ringing right away! Why the heck would anyone buy such an item? i dont believe the doll is even remotely haunted or was actually in a fire, the way the damage is done on the actual doll had to be on purpose as the dolls plastic head would have been burnt all over and the yarn hair would be completely gone, the body is stuffed with cotton and would have gone up in smoke completely
