Do these laces shrink? Do I need to prewash them?

Ooh - these videos are lovely. I do so hope you do some more in the "Heirloom Sewing" series. There's quite a community of stitchers/dressmakers around the world who love vintage and historic sewing and garments. These videos must be some of the best-kept secrets on youtube and most definitely deserve a much wider viewing. (Not all of us who love the historic "lingerie blouses" from the Edwardian period and so on want to spend weeks on end hand sewing them, after all.)
I learned a lot these techniques myself from books back in the 1980s (remember Sew Beautiful, Australian Smocking and Embroidery and Creative Needle?) and there was no youtube back then to help!
May I suggest that you add key words like Vintage, Edwardian, Lingerie and Victorian to your videos for this series so that more people who love this type of sewing find your videos?

What model Bernina would you suggest for heirloom sewing, and also quilting? I want the heirloom stitches, fine buttonholes, etc. I am not as concerned about machine embroidery, although that is something I might add later.

@@annblair4459 it was beautiful wasn’t it. Some of the laces shown may no longer be available but please check our website at www.ginasbernina.com. Most everything I own was purchased there but as I mentioned in the video those shown were from my collection obtained over the years. There are many beautiful laces and eyelets so I’m sure you can find something similar if that particular one is no longer available. Thank you so much for watching and commenting.

Great video. Very informative. But the mispronunciation of Entredeux sounds to me like fingernails on a blackboard. So sorry. 😢
