@Julia 🤍 There technically is no limit for how long one breastfeeds their child, it just isn’t necessary for survival anymore. Also, the WHO recommends mothers breastfeed for at least 2 years due to the benefits. It’s all personal choice, society just starts to sexualize mothers and their children past a certain age. No other species on this planets drinks the titty milk of another, they rely on their own for their young.

It might be private to you. Its a normal part of life. As normal as you going to get fast food. As normal as parenting tips on how to raise your child lovingly. These are really great conversations to have publically. Most women suffer during breastfeeding partially because of all the privacy and mystery around it. And never having seen it before. In almost any other country it’s as normal and public as taking your kid to the park.

Lol it was probably frozen prior because I tried mines during a trip since I didnt have a refrigerator handy and my baby wasn’t with me I didnt want to just trow it away after all the work of pumping.. so I put it on my face as a “mask”lol because I did not want to trow it away and I also felt weird drinking my own milk but I could not help to taste it while putting it all over my face and even hair :) it was sweet and delicious, after I tried it I never wanted to give my baby formula again knowing how delicious it tastes 🥰 and I did have my husband try it after also so he could understand my madness he agreed that it was the best!
