tbh, at first i don't like the rear design but it grows on you.. now, i have come to like it.. you always have the option to cover the lower part.. i've seen some owners do it.. plus the monty has alot of goodies that are optional only with the competition.. now it all depends on your taste kung gusto mo medyo futuristic design, malakas na makina at features tulad ng push button engine start/stop.. electronic parking brake, reverse camera, paddle shifters at 8 speed at tranny pero kulang ka sa budget for a high end model like the GT.. monty talaga ang magandang choice.. kasi lahat un makikita mo na sa base AT model nya.. just saying..

People here have some really bad taste on design preference. Fortuner's rear is very bland. the chrome license plate finisher doesn't go well together with the taillights. Even the Fortuner's front is bad too, it looks like a mouth with an overbite. All the kudos to Monterosport design!

Hndi kau magtaka bkit halos zero DP na ang montero kasi most of buyers alam parin nila ung mga previous SUA and mababa tlga sales nila. Fortuner or mu-X nalang :( Pero kung ako pipili mu-X LS-A AT 2018 daming features sa safety. Totoo man o hndi ung SUA at least nakaiwas ka sa aksidente na pwedeng mangyari.
If this was in the US as the montero with a 3rd row and A 335hp dohc not a sohc V6 engine with S4WC, and a coupe version offered as well, the Jeep Grand Cherokee have a suitable competitor.
Does anyone know if these have a tow hitch? I haven't seen any with and I want to put on a bike carrier for a dirt bike. If it doesn't, is there a way to professionally install one on there?

Got mine recently, premium variant. I don’t like the chirping sound when locking/unlocking. Also, mitsubishi philippines did not choose to have the smart link like the Pajero sport in Australia and front parking sensor includes only for top of the line variant. Comfy seats I must say, fuel efficient and powerful engine.

one thing I don't like about the Fortuner is how it's third row seats doesn't fold flat and flushed on the floor

its already 7yrs since i purchased my montero 17mdl, and i never had any major problems! still feels brand-new.
I hope this year 2019, the Montero will change its looks like the Xpander. They also need to change the Taillights. But overall, looks good!
