Ha ha, cool pig, Bob! Lots of fun with those two guys, Mark and Rob, and I'm sure they love the tribute, too! You're comepletely right about them, very helpful and welcoming guys, especially Mark helped me a lot to get settled in with the community.
Looking forward to seeing this pig out in the dirt, with or without tail, he he... And of course a TT-02B gotta have rocks rattling around in it...

Thanks Mads... As I said, Mark & Rob were in a band called "Bush Pig" so this popped into my head. They were the first 2 to help me and/or even text/answer me and they offered help, in more ways than one. I did test it and was just too fast with the motor I used... A run video may be sooner than I thought, still no snow here in upper/mid New York State, but sure is chilly....

    Bush pig!!! 🐽 😂 😅
    Awesome creation Bob, love it!
Can't give enough love to those two, they are probably responsible for many of our channels starting up.
They are a constant source of inspiration, and never fail to make us all laugh! 😂
I think Mark was the very first 'professional' to leave a comment on one of our videos..... and has supported us ever since.
And yes mate, I'm from the same generation that remembers those little glass brush polycarbonate paints that we all used to use back in the day, there was no mention of rattle cans in the instructions either, or window masks, or light/indicator decals.
Everything had to be brush painted by hand, happy days! 😊 👍 👍 👍

For sure James (guys)... Mark is a top notch guy for sure (Rob also). It took Rob a while to come around to view my videos. That said, Those 2 were the only ones that took the time to say anything back. Most others would say things like; "Lol, thanks for watching" or some other BS saying but never answered a question. Ah yes, brush on paints, no window masks, no window sticker frames/trim, those were the days.... Man, I would buy Testors paint brushes by the packs each week, to hell with cleaning them, I just tossed them in the trash when I was done. Now, Testors paints, more so the Pactra line is no more, Pactra was Testors line of polycarbonate paints, had more colors than Tamiya too.

I'm not familiar with those paint brands mate.... I always bought Tamiya, probably because that's what most of our local model shops pushed us back then!
      Model shops..... remember those?
Not many of those left in the UK either these days, shame man.
Tamiya paints to this day are still expensive, especially for such a small volume.... although I must admit, they are very good at what they do.
I still brush paint most of my lights, window frames, indicators etc...... I can't stand stick on ones!
Mind you, I don't really build anything modern, favouring the vintage stuff, or re re's of the vintage stuff.
Funnily enough, I'm just re painting the front indicators on my 959 runner as we speak..... the front end took some hard hits from that XVO1 the other week! 😂
I've also just found a cracked rear hub..... guna be fun finding one of those on Ebay, proper rocking horse s**t they are! 🐴 💩
Some of those engineers in the USA need to start re producing the hubs in aluminium, their aluminium suspension arms and wishbones are a work of art!
      All good fun mate. 😊 👍 👍 👍

@@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC Man oh man, Happy New Year btw!!! Bummer about the hub but as you said, "I rather run them than sit them on a shelf"... Till parts break and ya cant get anymore or cost 200 pounds for a plastic parts tree. Have you built or ran a Tamiya Wild One? I forget .

Oh trust me mate..... I've spent well over £200 on a 959 parts tree, Infact the total for restoring the shelf queen 959 is over £1,100!!😬🤑
But, it's worth it to me.... I would never sell it.
And once supplies for the runner totally dry up, I will make my own repairs..... Just like we had to do back in the day!
No mate, never owned a wild one, but it's certainly a cool buggy for sure!
Happy new year to you to buddy!

It is a great tribute to them, it is perfect as both of them will love it! Kind of reminds me of Pumba from the Lion King! He was cool and so is the buggy! Maybe a pink pipe cleaner coiled up for the tail?? Mark and Rod are both great guys and I love listening to the two of them together, couple of big kids when they get paired up!

LOl so right Addam.. I was going to with an angry look, kinda like the Thrush* Muffler logo but my talent isn't what it use to be. I can see a Pumba in this a little bit (Jen's fav in the movie btw). I can see how I want things to look but then it looks like a 5 year old did the work... Translation between the brain & mouth isn't there either when explaining my thoughts, it's like every part of the thoughts took a detour and got lost.
