Payo talking about a rare and then Grubby thinking he's trolling and then finally believing him and coming to see and then it disappearing is peak comedy
Its almost like its two adults who respect each other and know how to communicate. I was really impressed with both Payo and Grubby when this happened. Grubby could have been passive aggressive the whole dungeon and Payo could have kept trolling but no. Everything was layed out and both took the time to understand each others point of view. Its honestly really refreshing to see
I don't think Grubby was anywhere near clear enough about wanting to go safe and slow before almost quitting the party or kicking Payo. His point would be totally fair if he had been clear and then Payo had been omega goofing, but Grubby almost immediately went to "I can't focus on playing like this" after a few goofs and gafs from Payo.
@@AsifIcarebear3 And Payo could have made sure that his goofing around was ok, instead both of their expectations for how the group dynamic would work was wrong. They both sat down and discussed it. There is nothing wrong with with getting annoyed at someone and putting it out there as long as you can be respectful which both of them were.
@@77chance That's Payo's whole personality and shtick tho, its like asking a cat not to meow. He thought it was all gucci and reigned it in insta when he was aware.
Some people in the comments disrespecting grubby for expressing how he felt.. smh. I've raided with well meaning yappers while having too little brain space for raid mechanics and yapping at the same time, and I wish I would have handled it this well. I've also raided with yappers who were asked very politely to clear comms who I wish would have handled it this well.
I was in Grubbys chat at the time, the whole chat was spamming "vibes off" and you could see him slowly get overwhelmed with the conversation since he didn't have room to breathe or plan out his next step, and that lead him to think what might happen if it was during an overpull. I have no complaints about Payo and love the content, but would also feel overwhelmed if going into a tense situation (this dungeon has some messy encounters) and not having a moment to think how id handle it. Grubby also felt responsible for the others, since several members of the party were his viewers.
I dont think so tbh, he said he's feeling a lot of pressure and its his first time doing this dungeon and feels a lot of responsibility at the time. And the fact its hardcore makes it a lot more stressful for him so if he can't "lock in" (concentrate and be serious) because he feels payo is distracting him then thats fair enough. He also said it very respectfully and didnt crash out so I have a lot of respect for him sharing his feelings in a mature way
