Sorry if it came off that way, that's not really the reality. These planets are both close to their debilitation, but Leo is at least a good place for the Sun by sign. This combo in particular can be tough, but you may have other chart factors like aspects from benefics (Venus, Jupiter, etc) to those planets, a strong ascendant lord, a good Navamsha chart, etc...; And even if you're given a tough hand in life, you can always use your mind's understanding of yourself to make a good poker game out of a bad hand ;) It jusy takes logic and willpower, and perhaps a good therapist/astrologer to talk about your relationship to the placement you might be struggling with. All in all, you may not be struggling at all, as not all aspects are as "loud" for some people as they are for others!... I try to emphasise the difficult parts of most placements, to clarify what trouble it might get a person in...
