Even if they put them back together...it will be a repeat of who will Lizzie choose? Writing classes in the future will use this disaster to remind them....that even good writers can crash...and they crashed. It is a very sad ending to a love story that dazzled us!

That was so beautiful!!! I love Anthem Lights, and it was a perfect song choice!!! My gosh, from the adorable "daddy" moments with Lucas and Jack to Elizabeth's heart-meltingly sweet "I love you" while Lucas was sleeping to the "If we should marry" conversation that was practically the two of them exchanging wedding vows, each episode is just getting better and better!!! I am 100% convinced that a proposal will be here by the end of the season!! :D After being married to Jack for such a short time after SUCH a long courtship period, I'm certain Elizabeth must fully recognize now the danger in waiting too long to make the next step. I KNEW Season 9 would be the best yet, and I am NOT being disappointed!!! Great job!!! :)

So, your guess is as good as mine as to what is transpiring there, but it's probably NOT the way he's going to propose...BUT, I'm still completely certain that he WILL this season, someway, somehow!!!! :)

There is nothing about him that can justify why they broke up Lucas and Elizabeth. They made Elizabeth become a teenager when they decided to put those two together. I skip every scene of those two. I CAN'T understand why anyone has a problem seeing Elizabeth and Lucas together. To me L is a better fit for E than even Jack was!!! They have similar backgrounds and similar interests.
