There are two different meanings behind the video compared to the song lyrics. In the video, Lil Nas is both "Adam and Eve" and the serpent in his own sexuality that he is trying to run from but can't escape. So he embraces it. He is looked down upon from the whole world and most religions that tells him he is going to "Hell" because he is gay and just because he loves someone of his own sex. He is everyone in the video because the fantasy land is called Montero, (That is his real name). He shows that he is just fine going to an imaginary hell because he is taking back what others have said to him and wants to show the world that no one will ever control what he says or does. He has more courage then anyone in the music industry today! He also will still make more money and have more influence on millions of people then most others ever will. Think about that!
