Thank you so much for your informative and easy to follow instructions. I have just set this up without solenoids/actuators to test the hardware and software. The image file was easy to download, the WiFi connected straight away and the relays were working first time. I’m excited now to set up a 4 channel watering system and to add some of the sensors. I’m also looking forward to examine the programming code in order to understand it better. The web interface is beautifully laid out and has so many features. Thank you very much for all your efforts and hard work.

Great Video! Thank you very much! I have some relay boards, raspberry pi 3B's, a sensor, and a power supply in my desk, got the relay's working but the interface was too much for me..
Tonight i will try to make a setup to run your climate control system. Have a Nice Evening ;-)

Wow, I was just thinking about building a system with a plc and touch screen that I had laying around, this is way more convenient! I’m going to add a rainwater pump and a level sensor to turn it off if the basin gets low. Thanks for the info!

Hi there, I very much like your project and appreciate the effort that has gone into designing and building this irrigation system, wanted to ask you - any plans on making the automation/irrigation hat for rpi available in your tindie store again? I'd very much like to order one... or any chance you'd be willing to share the PCB files and BOM for all necesary parts - doesn't have to be free ;-)

Can this system use LoRa for operating a remote valve and also get moisture/temp data through the same LoRa?

It doesn't support Lora, but a simplified 433Mhz long range system.

    • @skd5432

@@hydrosys4raspberry19 Oh... ok. I was looking to have all wires removed and have everything wireless, so that the flexibility of placing the controls and sensors is more. Also now with the cost of electronics going down the cost of wiring length will over shoot the cost of wireless electronics.

Wow! I've made too a little IoT Irrigation Project with Arduino 's code only. It was complicated but I did ithehe xD. I was also able to set the NAT in my router to make it easier to connect from my public IP address. Anyway, I've noticed that you're italian by the cellphone in this video. Pure Io, sono curioso di capire come hai fatto l'UI per questo progetto. Ci sarà la possibilità di contattarLa? Abito adesso a Milano. Se per caso Lei ci interessa può rispondermi alla mail daviddelli94@gmail.com. In tanto, grazie per avere condiviso questo video e di molto aiuto per chi lavora nell'ambito della IoT. Buona giornata Have a nice day :)
