When Americans say Melbourne correctly it brings me so much joy! Thank you Chelsea for getting it right. This haul was amazing, even though I’m super late watching it x
Yay I'm so glad you got the books I sent, and yes they are both from me. I started to read adult romance because of you so I felt like it was only right to send you books in that genre. Congrats btw on your marriage and I am so glad to hear your HUSBAND (!) is in good health. Lets definitely talk vet stuff some day although sad to say I only have small animal experience although i did help vaccinate goats once haha
I just finished The Vanishing! I hadn't read any of her books before, but I liked it. The romance felt rushed to me, but I'm intrigued enough to keep reading the series. The audiobook version of Daisy Jones is fantastic - they have a full cast with several big names. I definitely enjoyed it way more than I thought I would! It's not really my genre at all.
The Three Dark Crowns series is one of my favorite recent series too! I’m glad your series is finally complete. That edition of The Starless Sea is beyond gorgeous 😍 I read it this month, and even though it’s only January, I already know it’s going to be one of my favorite reads of 2020. Great haul!
I'm currently reading Daisy Jones & the Six on audible and it's really nice to listen to with the full cast. I hear it's better to listen to than to actually read the physical copy. 😊 Also Cricket is SO BIG now!! What a sweet little trouble maker 😍
I'm a fairly new watcher, so forgive me if you've mentioned her before, but have you read Katie Macalister? She is pretty much the only romance author I read. She is VERY funny, has romances that just take place in "normal" life and romances that are sci-fi/fantasy themed. She has a few series that have vampires, for example. My favorite is a stand alone, non-fantasy themed one, called "A Hard Day's Knight" that takes place at a Ren Faire. The main character is taking care of her aunt's cat. I laughed so much! I also love her Aisling Grey series which is fantasy themed. Her heroines are funny and are based more on real life (clumsy, not a size 0 for example). She also has her own Etsy shop where she sells copies of her books that she signs which is really fun if you love autographed books!
I got multiple pairs of fuzzy socks for Christmas and got very excited to got some more of them to add to my collection of fuzzy socks. I totally get it. I also have a middle grade book recs in on my channel if you're up to watching it.
That sweater is so adorable and brilliant! Giraffe piled with books is perfect. Not sure I ever watch your videos without adding books to my wishlist or at the very least my “have to look further into this title” list. Always lovely to hear you talk about books!
Everyone was so generous! That’s amazing! And I almost picked We Were Vikings for my first BOTM but ended up choosing Sun Down Motel. It was really good!
Happy New Year, and congratulations on your wedding! I'm just popping on to suggest the audiobook for Daisy Jones. I'm sure you've heard that recommendation before, but it really is excellent!
I just finished Daisy Jones and the Six recently. I had the same thoughts as you did. That time just does not interest me either but decided to give it a try to see what the hype was all about. I am however glad that I did give it a try because I loved it. I liked the way the story was told, in interview form. I think that was what kept me interested to be honest
YAY for spoiling you. :) I am so hyped to read Kulti myself-I haven't yet. Happy that it brings you joy. LMAO at a "chill" haul if you do one for ALA. hahaha
Are you going to read Nameless Queen by Rebecca McLaughlin? I just got my copy in the mail and I'm so excited. It is YA, which I know you're reading less of lately, but I was just curious.
You are so welcome. I have to say I had to selfishly send you the Beard Series so I could have your review on it before I bit the bug on that one. 😘😘to🐐 (kisses to Napoleon). I would send him a book if I didn’t think he would eat it ha.
Hey! I know you're a big horse person ^^ Have you read the Unicorns of Balinor series by Mary Stanton? It's an older children's series but it's sooooo goooood. They're all available digitally now both on nook and Kindle. You should check them out!
Ooh. I read this manga called "Silver Spoon" by Hiromi Arakawa and it instantly reminded of you. It's about a guy who runs away after failing his entrance exams to enroll into an agricultural school. I strongly recommend you check it out.
Yep, that's how we say it!!! LOL!! Annoys me so much we hear people say "Bourne" as is the "Bourne Identity" it's more like "Bin" if you ever listen to an Aussie!!!
my cat didn't come from a shelter she was given to me by my Step cousin on my mom's side her cat a had a litter of kittens and sending them to the shelter was her last resort so I took one I named her Molly

One of the best things about books, is sharing them.

I really enjoyed Daisy Jones on audio since it has a full cast. I really want to read The Wives!
I’ve heard a couple of times daisy jones and the six is better on audiobook
Yup cats and books literally what I'm here for lol but you're great too
Random book rec, if your not fimilar with it, a series by Spencer quinn the bernie and chet series told from a dogs point of view.
Melbourne just sound different because of the accent.
Jamie 902209 “Melbun” all the way - that’s the correct way to say it whatever your accent! 😊
I don’t know why Daisy Jones got so much hype ... it’s nowhere near as good as Evelyn Hugo.
