In Vietnam, we are proud of these people, they do massages and massages for only 2 dollars, but they are very quality and refreshing. Especially this is a job mostly for the blind, so it's very meaningful. I'm from Hanoi, Vietnam and I'm not good at Vietnamese, I use google translate
I would feel too guilty giving him $2 after all that work. I would happily pay him about $30 and still feel its good value, plus its 15x what he expected

I’m a 2nd gen Viet immigrant in Canada. Because of Covid I am unable to visit and relax to the sounds of the streetlife and beaches. This video helps tremendously with that. From what I know this guy seems to be in Saigon, so hopefully if I go with my family to visit my aunt we can swing by and see this guy

I love that the way for a vietnamese person to speak to a korean person is through english, its so interesting.
It happens quite often in Asian countries. If Taiwanese people can't speak Japanese in Japan, they might talk in English (assuming the Japanese can't speak Chinese as well)
English is the lingua franca (basically a fancy way of saying it is the language that has the most dominance around the world). Can’t speak the guy’s language? Try English, just about every country tries to gets its people to learn English.
English is the language of business, technology, diplomacy (basically all diplomats need to learn fluent English or have a translator), and more.
English has gotten the closest to being a universal language.

I’m a 2nd gen Viet immigrant in Canada. Because of Covid I am unable to visit and relax to the sounds of the streetlife and beaches. This video helps tremendously with that. From what I know this guy seems to be in Saigon, so hopefully if I go with my family to visit my aunt we can swing by and see this guy
