This is why players need to learn to adapt their movesets. I mean, there is a reason characters in this game have two movesets ain't it? Especially on those mons where both sets can work with the same item build. For example: Pikachu, Chandelure, Talon, heck even defenders like Slowbro (Unless you're going full offensive build)
As a Chandelure main, every move combinations of this mon are fun. Flamethower is a last hitting monster and Overheat is a kiting mage. Utility from damaging Poltergeist and stun from Imprison are all useful. New and returning players are very recommended to buy Chandy. Its pretty easy to use with a legit strong offense. Its mobility are the worst though but worry not, Eject Button is a 99.96% survival button for it. That's all from me, peace everyone✌🏻

X speed for me, overheat obviously does insane dmg, but flamethrower burst is in sine. U can think if it as a gardevoir situation with future sight and psyshock.
With another set of mons coming, I agree. You might want to save up. My best advice is choose based on your preferred battle style. Try around in practice mode, see which one catches your eye.

What items do you usually run on Chandy? I play it alot too but it's usually a hit or miss. Sometimes really good other times I just get blown up.

I'm more of an X Speed guy myself, lower cooldown and increase in movement speed, but Eject Button is awesome too

His early game is quite bad but after level 5 he is a beast, he is my favorite pokemon this season
