Well to be honest with Mei rarely at the moon cooking kiana proper meal so they just afraid kiana just gonna order alot of snacks and not eat properly that all although there food supplies send to kiana but i think it barely meet kiana daily nutrition and made mei feel quite worried about ( flashback to mei and kiana chatting in chat group in end of finality chapter) so yeah its not like she didn't give kiana eat any junk food or snacks but it just... Well we know kiana once she eat snacks she cant stop until she been discovered

Why didn't Durandal age at all while Bronya and Mei completely grew up?
With lore, it could be something to do with Otto since Durandal was serious injured when she rescued Kiana with Siegfried and Otto used Soulium to heal her which also change her look. In reality it is just inconsistency aging between characters.
