While it can be done, I don't strongly recommend it. There are only 2 reasons for it: 1. You'll have slow access usage as multiple users might log in from different locations at real-time and try to access the same resources on the parent system 2. By employing this, you can easily put your data at risk as one user would easily be able to access/influence the functions performed by other users on the system Both challenges can be solved if you provide access permissions to users while creating the system. These access permissions should have strict rules over which part of the system functionalities they have access to, which will, in turn, can boost its performance as well. Lastly, do note that a VPN (or a virtual private network) allows you to access a network, whereas a remote desktop (RDP) allows you to access a totally separate system/device.
Hi Faisal, running RDP on its own is fine as long as you maintain safe security and encryption practices. If you have no bandwidth-intensive data, than a VPN service will be enough. However, most people prefer to use RDP since it uses less bandwidth
