You’ll love it! Make sure you check out our other videos on Phu Quoc if you haven’t already - VinWonders, the floating restaurant at the fishing town and Melia VinPearl Phu Quoc were our favourites of Phu Quoc!
Again, you guys did a great job of showing stuff other vloggers have missed or misunderstood. The videos I've seen of Grand World, they showed it during the day, but I think night time is where the magic happens with the shows and lights. Did you guys say the hotel price INCLUDE the theme park that you showed in a later video?!? If so, that is outrageous!! They have to be losing money...I mean, even without the theme park, how are they making any money? Maybe the price is so low due to lack of tourists? I know Vietnamese people avoid the sun, so I don't expect many to show up during the day time, but surely it should be busier than that at night! How long ago was this filmed?
Yeah we walked through Grand World during the day and it was pretty dead! There was loads going on between 7pm and 10pm but it was very quite the rest of the time for some reason. No! It didn’t include the park ticket - but at that price it was still an absolute steal. We would definitely go back to this lovely hotel! It’s so hard to go back to paying USD 120 per night for a crappy 3-star hotel in England after we got these types of hotels in Vietnam for a fraction of the price! This one was filmed in April I think, as we’re a bit behind with the editing. When we asked the hotel staff they said that it was a quiet time of year. I don’t know why more tourists didn’t go early in the year as the weather was glorious!
@@shotinthedarktravel Vietnamese people avoid the sun, which is a good thing if you're a Westerner, that means you get places like the beach to yourselves. They prefer lighter/paler skin as do most minorities. The Vietnamese over in the US aren't as stringent about the sun as the ones in Vietnam...and I can tell since my wrinkles and sun spots are now showing up on my face. LOL! As far as the hotels and places you guys stayed in...they were spectacular for the price. I mean, for the price we pay in the US, it'd be cheaper to book a flight to Vietnam and just live in the freakin' 5-star hotel than what we have to pay here. It's ridiculous.
I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic? We used to be terrible and now after a fair bit of time in South East Asia and a bit of practice we’re finally not bad 😂
